I've always had a problem with pins and clips staying put. My hair is on the fine side and nothing seemed to hold it very well or for very long. These clips are fantastic! They grip without being too tight and they really do "StayPut". My gripes: the small size can easily be overwhelmed by a tad too much hair, at which point it won't close and you have to keep re-doing it until you get just the right amount. There's also only two sizes that I've seen - small or too big. And it's difficult to find in stores. But other than that, I still love these clips.
