When I had to stay overnight at a hospital and their air was really dry, a nurse recommended me this oil. Although it hydrated my skin moderately, I prefer to use this oil in the bath to apply directly on my skin right after getting out of the shower. First of all, the oil was thin (compared to Johnson's Baby Oil or Oil Gel) so I had to use more than other body oil.
