Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup Primer Reviews

Primer
I got this in a kit, as I have previously described. This primer really gives a good "blank slate" before applying the Geller Baked Foundation powder. It makes the foundation stay put all day; no need for touch ups. I highly recommend this makeup line. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Laura Geller Spackle
Laura Geller's Spackle is my favorite primer to use. I have acne scars, large pores, fine lines, and a few wrinkles and this creates a blank canvas to apply my makeup on to. This is pretty much clear, with light reflecting particles that help diffuse those not so great spots on your face, so this is not going to cover red marks or acne (that's what use concealer for). The best part about Spackle is how much longer your makeup stays on when wearing it! That, and the colors go on truer as well. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Smooths over piercings
As far as foundation primers go, Smashbox's is far superior to Laura Geller's. However, this one works if you have any serious facial issues. I took my nose ring out for good over a year ago, but I still have an unsightly hole in my nostril. I don't have any major qualms about my skin, so I've been using the free sample I received to (literally) spackle my former piercing. Will I purchase the full size when my sample runs out? No. But it's cool while it lasts. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not for me
I liked this at first, after learning not to use too much, a little goes a very long way. If you use too much, waiting for it to dry seems to take forever and my base coat looked really gross. It did make my skin breakout. Prefer smashbox and EL. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great primer
I have only tried a few primers and this is my go to primer. It creates a great base for my balance and brighten powder foundation by Laura gellar. I do not need to make sure it is even, which is great for busy moms on the go. My makeup stays true to color, it is not oily and it keeps me from having to touch up throughout the day, which is great for oily skin. The price is more affordable than the other top performing primer and that's makes all the difference in the world — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

ONE OF THE BEST PRIMERS I'VE TRIED
Love the gel consistency and not too thick...not much added benefit besides priming before makeup...pretty standard primer...nothing special. — 5 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

not for my skin
i have acne prone skin, this product seem to make it worse. So Ladies do i have some fantastic news for you, i had read that the new monistat chafing relief gel is a great primer i have been using it for approx. 7 weeks and i absolutely love it!! I use half the makeup i normally would use and it makes my skin appear flawless. No more taking my makeup with me for touchups, no need it stays on all day. My skin is so soft after applying it and best of all no breakouts from it.. I was so excited about the product i called the company and told them i absolutely love it! the cost is about $7.00 and you can find it where you find monistat, summers eve etc. Can almost be certain you will love it so much you to will switch — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Fabulous
The primer works beautifully to set the stage for your choice of foundation. It takes a very little amount so the product lasts a long time. I am very pleased with the product. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Amazing Stuff!
This makes my skin feel soft and silky. I put in on over my regular moisturizer and then do something else for a few minutes while it dries. My mineral makeup definitely goes on better. You do have to be careful not to put too much on or it can make your makeup ball up if you rub your face later. Less really is more, making this a good value for the money! — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

So far, so good
This is my first primer I've tried. I am 50+ and have normal/dehydrated skin and it seems to keep my makeup looking much fresher by the end of the day instead of disappearing. I apply spf moisturizer over it for protection, then my foundation. There is no oily residue or any anything. It simply leaves a smooth surface and I have found my foundation goes on more smoothly and I need less. It goes a long way as you don't need to use a lot. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
