E.L.F. MINERAL GLOW
The casing is a clear plastic container with a screw on/off capping. Within the container is a sifter to help control how much product comes out at once. Even thought with the sifter, though, the amount of product that comes out is a lot. I would recommend putting some of the loose powder the lid and using your brush to collect the amount. The purpose of this product is to give an individual a slight sun kissed appearance to their skin. There are only two colors available (one for lighter skin and one for darker skin; there is no middle). The one color designed for lighter skin is called "Shimmer Mineral". I was not too happy with this product. It is a very, very light color and all it does in my opinion is adding sparkle to your skin (that's not giving you a glowing look). I did not really have a problem with this product caking or creasing. It can look a little heavy if you apply too much (as would any other product), so watch the amount that you apply. Remember this is not a foundation, it is to add glow to your skin. A light dusting will do the trick. Generally I am not impressed with ELF products when it comes to the application section. Most of ELF's products wear off within a couple hours. Love "e.l.f."'s "Mineral Glow" and "Mineral Booster". Finely milled and perfect as setting powders... ;)
Love my “Mineral Glow” just as much as I love “e.l.f.”’s “Mineral Boosters”! As far as I know, this comes in two colors: Shimmer and Bronzed. I can never get my hands on “Bronzed” because it’s been sold out for quite a while online, but I do have this in “Shimmer” and I love it. Before I go on, I will say right away that if you are not a big fan of shimmer and glitter tha...read moren you should definitely skip this product. The shimmer, though small and subtle, is still noticeable enough to turn you off if you’re not a fan. If you want a similar product but one that’s not as shimmery, get the “Mineral Booster” in “Shimmer”. It will give you a similar “soft focus” effect but without noticeable shimmer on your face. So this “Mineral Glow” is basically a very finely milled powder with small shimmers. I say small, but they are still quite noticeable when you apply the product onto your face. The powder itself applies very smoothly and doesn’t look powdery or cakey on your face. It doesn’t have any silkiness like an HD powder would but a very similar finish once you apply it. Now I wouldn’t really say that this gives you a natural glow (because of the quite visible shimmer), but it does brighten up your face. However, I still wouldn’t recommend this for an everyday “office work” look. I’d say that it’s more suitable for the weekend or a night out. You can wear it on its own, just to even out your complexion and to add a bit of glam (with “Shimmer”) or as a setting powder, like I do. I basically use the “Mineral Boosters” as an everyday setting powder and this “Glow” for when I’m going out (day or night) and I love both of them equally. Both of these products keep my skin shine-free for about 4-5 hours, and I usually don’t retouch because a little bit of shine doesn’t bother me anyway. Comes in a HUGE container with product filled to the top. It will last you a long time. The color is dark which I love because you can control whether you want it to be darker. Perfect for contour and there is not a hint of orange in it. e.l.f. Mineral Glow in Bronzed
I love this product. It's beautiful bronzer for women with olive or darker skin. Or, if you know how to use a light hand and blend well, lighter complexions could get away with it. It's a finely milled powder (cocoa in color) that doesn't have a smell. This powder should last you quite a while.
