The casing is a clear plastic container with a screw on/off capping. Within the container is a sifter to help control how much product comes out at once. Even thought with the sifter, though, the amount of product that comes out is a lot. I would recommend putting some of the loose powder the lid and using your brush to collect the amount. Make sure to tap off the brush before application because this powder will cling to your brush and will overdo your application. The purpose of this product is to give an individual a slight sun kissed appearance to their skin. There are only two colors available (one for lighter skin and one for darker skin; there is no middle). The one color designed for lighter skin is called "Shimmer Mineral". I was not too happy with this product. It is a very, very light color and all it does in my opinion is adding sparkle to your skin (that's not giving you a glowing look). I did not really have a problem with this product caking or creasing. It can look a little heavy if you apply too much (as would any other product), so watch the amount that you apply. Remember this is not a foundation, it is to add glow to your skin. A light dusting will do the trick. Generally I am not impressed with ELF products when it comes to the application section. Most of ELF's products wear off within a couple hours.
