E.L.F. Tone Correcting Concealer Reviews

Great for the price
ELF's Tone Correcting Concealer is great for the price--it's only $1! If you're looking for heavy coverage, this is not the concealer for you (don't use it on dark acne scars, it won't really cover them). But for lighter coverage and VERY minimal "tone correcting", it's not bad. Really, it's more like a very light foundation in terms of coverage. I didn't find it oily. My complaints are the smell and the color. The smell isn't bad--it would be okay for a scented lotion or something, but it feels a little odd to be putting orange-scented concealer on your face. The color is a tad orange-y for my skin, but isn't too bad after I put some mineral powder over it. The color is also a little dark--I bought the concealer in "Fair" even though my skin is more of a "light nude" tone and the concealer is still a little dark for my face. Overall, I'm not sure that I would buy this concealer again. For $1, it's a pretty good product, but as a concealer, it's definitely lacking. If they came out with different shades or adjusted them to be less orange-tinted, I definitely would. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 8 people said helpful

good for the price
This concealer is pretty good- does a decent job covering imperfections, it's not worse than, say, almay. There are shades to choose from. The package is nice- a tube with applicator. It's not very big, but that's a plus, cause you can use it up before it goes bad. I'm not too crazy about the smell- it smells like oranges, and is a bit too strong to use on under eye area. Overall, a good product for just 1$. — 10 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Best dollar you can spend. Makes under my eyes and blemishes look concealed, does the job. SO CHEAP. Great colors. Love this stuff — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 8 people said helpful

tried the concealer
orange scented, reasonably priced and goes on light. One gripe: only two colors to choose from so how do you get it right? — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I love this!
I like to dab it on under my foundation, it reduces redness and is only $3. The best concealer in my makeup bag. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

its perfect
It helps hide the darker areas under my eyes without making it look like Barbie skin. Just the perfect amount of coverage for me. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Impressed.
I bought this concealer 3 shades lighter than my skin tone to highlight and conceal at the same time, and it does just that. The only thing I don't get is why they don't have my shade on the website. I'm in "Apricot Beige" and it's not listed on their shades on their website when I went to repurchase it. — 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful
