Definitely more of a gloss.
This is really more of a semi-pigmented gloss than a liquid lipstick. The texture is a little sticky/unpleasant, and I didn't care for the scent either. I'm not a huge fan of click-pen applicators in general either. Worth $1? Maybe. Nice gloss

Can't live without!
This!! I love this. The other reviews that say it's more of a gloss are not wrong. It definitely has a gloss-like texture to it. I have this in the "Baby Lips" shade, which is a pale pink in the tube, but goes on sheer on me. I have a few lipsticks that are a little to dark or bold for day wear, but I've discovered if I apply this product first it makes a perfect base that tones down those darker lipsticks and helps them last longer. I also love the applicator--it's soft and spongy and you just click the bottom to dispense as much product as you need. I wish every liquid lip product had an applicator like this! I cannot wait to try this in some of the other colors. It also has a soft vanilla mint scent that I cannot get enough of. Update: I now have this in two other colors and I love them! They are still more like gloss than lipstick, but the color is subtle and lovely and I love the texture. They don't last as long as one might hope for a lipstick--but that's because the texture is so much more like gloss, I think. Surprise hit!!!
I cannot believe how much I love this. I have this in Baby Lips and it's the perfect color to enhance anyone's lips. I've already bought my backup since I'm about to run out!!! Texture is great, but color and shine are lacking

good, but not a lipstick
I wouldn't say this is a lipstick, more of a lip gloss, but either way I am happy with it, especially for only $1. Agreed: not lipstick, lipgloss
This 'lipstick' is simply not pigmented enough, it's really lip gloss with a little bit of pop ladies. Unless one has lips that have little to no pigmentation naturally, it's actually really hard to see the medium to light shades. The formula is to be loved, however. Great shine and lasting power for $1 products!
I tried out all of these and was very pleased with the pigmentation and quality of the glosses. Some of them are pretty sheer, while others have amazing color payoff. The glosses have a smooth formula, although I applied them with a lip brush, I'm assuming since the products have the sponge tip applicator it should go on smoother than using a lip brush. The glosses have a fresh minty smell that is not overpowering as some other cheap lip products tend to have. I give these glosses 2 thumbs up, and plan on repurchasing. More of a lip gloss.
This is more of a lip gloss... I really hate the applicator though. It looks gross, feels gross on my lips, and twisting too much can result in way too much product. The product felt sticky to me as well. Besides the applicator, it's a pretty average product.
