Not what I was expecting
I got this and had way higher expectations for this product. I found the brush applicator a little bit too flimsy for my liking. The gloss itself was what really disappointed me. Barely had any pigmentation, and didn't stay on. Ill finish the tube of gloss but I definitely won't be repurchasing this. It was okay...
First off, I just want to say.. I love 'the eyes lips face products', majority of them anyway because they are so budget friendly. I purchased this weeks ago and I'm still trying to decide on what I like and dislike about this product but so far, here's my opinion. So I ordered the shade 'bare' just to gloss over a natural lipstick shade from the essential line, which I choses Nostalgic and applied it over it, I've never really been one to wear lipstick alone, I have dry lips normally and prefer a moisturizing lip tint, So without chatting about me personally.. I liked the lipgloss, Bare was okay alone, a bit sticky but most lipglosses are, the packaging was iffy, It was only a dollar on so I mean I didn't expect the packaging to be fantastic. The color bare over pink lipstick shades or nude lip shades look very pretty in my opinion. I have only tried one lip gloss from this line. So I couldn't detail about every last one of them but from other reviews, most people with dark skin tones liked flirt, fairy and honey. Also I like the smell of it, I don't really enjoy the applicator brush.. but I deal with it like I said before.. It was only a dollar so I didn't expect it to be astonishing, I still don't know if I'd refer these glosses to a friend because I have only used one. Overall I liked it. 6 out of 10 stars. Good for the price
This is a very nice lipgloss for the price of only 1 dollar! It has nice color and scent. I really like the colors fairy and flirt. Sticky and sickly sweet
I'm not a huge gloss fan, but I couldn't pass up the chance to try out some fun colors for cheap. Even for a dollar though, I would not repurchase this product. Not only was the gloss tacky on my lips but the super sweet scent was off putting as well. Worst, I barely got any color out of it. If it weren't scented, I may give it another try (mine might be botched since their products tend to be a bit inconsistent in formula). Great gloss

I just ordered a ton of ELF products for about $40 total. They arrived faster than expected and I LOVE all of them so far. I bought a few of the eye shadow brushes and for $1 a piece they are wonderfully soft and work great. I have paid way more for brushes that dont hold up as well. I also bought a "clutch" which is a case with eyeshadows and blush and lip gloss, etc. The eyeshadow stayed put all day long and the lip gloss is nice. It stayed shiny and bright and made my lips feel and look super soft. I am very impressed with the elf products that I've used so far and am going to order more. Why pay a ton of money when you can get great products at a great deal? O and the fingernail polish has been on my hands for 4 days and hasn't chipped or came off yet. Pretty Nice For $1
I have this ELF Hypershine Gloss in Vixen, which has an alright smell and it's a very sheer reddish pink color. It's a little sticky, but it helps the color stay on. It's really pretty and the brush applicator is alright. The Stila lip glazes are basically the same as this, however, I've never tried them, so you can speak for yourself. For $1, I really like these and I'll probably buy more. These are very wearable for anyone from beginning in makeup to a pro. It's always worth a try! (: I've heard that every single one except Vixen has a very strong pina colada smell, but Vixen has a fake cherry smell...I'm not sure though. I will certainly go back to Target to buy more of these and the luscious liquid lipsticks. I am soooooooooo happy with this product though..and I'm not sure why people don't like it!
