Very shiny
The shine lives up to its name. It doesn't have overpowering smell, and the gloss is comfortable on lips - not too thick, not too thin. It's not sticky & gloppy either. The brush is not my favorite since I prefer wands. The color is minimal, it looks mostly clear. Not bad for a buck!
There are not many things we can get for a dollar anymore. I received a free tube of this gloss in Fairy. I like ELF products a lot, but I did run into a few issues with this one. I liked the color; its very pretty. However, I noticed immediately that the gloss had an odd smell and taste to it. It was not pleasant by any means; sort of like burnt plastic. The gloss had pretty good staying power and a nice texture and pigment. I'm not crazy about the brush applicator, but if you prefer brushes this one is for you; no shedding. Nifty gloss for a buck
I got this one in the cherry color, and it gives my lips just enough color and shine to go with a natural look or for a more toned down look for places like work. It had a slight cherry/berry taste too it, as well as a fruit smell. I had to twist it for what seem like forever before the product dame out the tip. The tip is felt-ish with the little holes that let the gloss come through. The cap stayed on in my purse (a big plus) and even after all the initial twisting the tube comes with a good amount of product. If you have a daughter or niece just starting to get into makeup, this would make an excellent start as the colors are all very "safe" - this is the second to darkest color and is no darker than what your lips would look like if you drank cherry Kool-Aid. Worth the dollar, but not much more.
The shine and sparkle is great, but I found this gloss to be a bit sticky compared to the higher end glosses. There is not much of a difference between the different shades that you can buy, they almost all look basically clear once they go on. The taste is blah and the smell is okay. It doesn't last very long either. For a dollar it is a great way to make your lips look shiny, but I wouldn't go kissing anyone while wearing this because of the taste. Amazing Shine
There are reasons for all the high praises e .l.f. glosses get. This one does what it's named for, it shines. Bad
So Sticky!! terrbile applicator! Goes on so streaky! When you try to spread it around with another brush, your finger, a sponge, or rub your lips together nothing helps! Its REALLY drying! I put this on and went to the store and when i came back my lips were very chapped and dry! Love these glosses!
I have three glosses by elf that were a three pack for $3. Figured if they weren't that good, I didn't waste much money. I was pleasantly surprised! I love every color I bought. They keep my lips moist when some products I pay double the price dry my lips out. Definitley would buy these again!
