Hit or miss with the colors!
I have this in two colors, Honey Do (a sheer colorless gloss), and Watermelon (a semi sheer bright pink with slight pearl gloss). PROS: Cheap! Sweet smell, not plasticky (I prefer the smell of the Watermelon over the Honey Do). Watermelon has really, really nice pink shimmery color. I like the applicator type better than some of ELF's other applicators (click brush, etc). CONS: It's not a great product, just a decent product. Honey Do isn't very impressive at all--these glosses are hit or miss. Overall, I might buy this product again in Watermelon. Not as shiny as others
I don't really like elf products but if I'm in a pinch I can run into a Walgreens or Target and it's always available. 3 tubes for $3 at Target, wow, really! The shades that came with my package are light pink, mauvey-pink, and watermelon red. The colors are rather generic, and gives a little color on my lips, but a lot of shine. Although the staying power is not outstanding, with this price tag I don't mind applying a few times. I got this gloss in Angel- the clear one, as turned out with some glittery/shimmery particles. You get quite a bit of gloss for 1$, and it smells ok (this particular one smells like grapes), tastes pretty sweet too. The glittery thingies aren't too noticeable, so that's good too. And the gloss isn't too sticky. What I didn't like is that the gloss is way too thick, and if applied over a lipstick, everything turns into quite a bit of a mess. Once it melts onto lips it is more bearable, but that takes time. I don't know it it's just the clear gloss that's so thick, but I'm not sure I'll dare to try other shades now. Worthless
Non-sticky, long lasting, moisturizing, non-irritating, beautifully colored lipglosses with spf 15 and a pleasant grape taste: $1! Gorgeous purse originally $150 on sale: $50! Dinner and drinks with friends: $35! Going to reapply your awesome lip gloss only to find that it has seeped through the treads on the top and oozed all over your gorgeous purse and its contents and spending the evening in the bathroom trying to clean off your keys and other items: WORTHLESS! I had purchased a bunch of these and tried again, but this time put them in baggies to protect my purse. They all oozed throught the treads. What a disappointment. I would have given these a 10 because the gloss itself is awesome, but the packaging sucks. Great for a buck!
I like the color selection. The feel and consistency is great, compared to other lip glosses I've tried. I'm not too crazy about the grape smell. Great deal
For a dollar, this one is worth the price. It is not too sticky, not too thin, feels very comfortable on the lips. It give you a nice shine, with a hint of color, and the smell isn't offensively strong either. great gloss for dirt cheap
I was pleasantly surprise how great this gloss is. Not only high shine but it's not at all sticky, has a light pleasant taste, and lasts a long time. SPF!
This gloss has great color, good staying power, this unique fragrance, it's only a buck, and there's SPF! Normal glosses without sun protection actual burns your lips, so stock up glosses with SPF, especially in the summer!
