waste of money
These were no more effective than plain old soap and water, and still left eye makeup residue.I would not buy these again. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Save your dollar
Ladies, save your dollar. This is the worst beauty product I've ever tried. I honestly don't know how it got some higher reviews. First of all, the pads are too small. They barely removed any of my eye make up, even after I held it on my eye to "loosen" the mascara and eyeshadow. I had to rub and rub to get my eye make up off and I don't even use waterproof eye make up. These left my eyes red (maybe that was my rubbing) and burning. They also left a filmy residue on my eyes. Yes, they only cost a dollar and you do get eighteen of them. But plain old soap and water would have done a better job. I'll stick to the good stuff like Clinique's Take the Day Off or Mary Kay's remover. They do a way better job even if it costs more. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

eh'
bought a bunch, theyre too small, and the product stings a bit on me, tho it does remove eyemakeup well enough. and they dried out soon after opening them. i wouldnt buy them again, but for a dollar i dont feel like they needed to improve anything. i guess theyd be ok for travel, just not as an everyday use type of thing. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

+1 for portability
This makeup remover isn't exactly a holy grail for me, but it gets the job done, and easily makes my makeup bag less bulky when I'm traveling. Everything comes off easily, even my super waterproof eyeliner and mascara without the sting, but it leaves a sticky residue that takes some washing off afterwards. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Dries out quickly
Same complaint as the nail polish remover pads: Great idea, but dries out within a month. Not recommended. — 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Love these Makeup Remover Pads!
I am really picky about getting my eye makeup off when I'm done wearing it. For me it isn't about healthy skin as much as it's my hatred of Raccoon Eyes! These wipes remove it ALL without leaving oil behind. I buy at least 5 pkgs at a time since I give so many to my friends. Why all the bad reviews?
This actually works really well for removing pencil eyeliner and eye shadow. You don't have to rub hard to take it off. The pads are thin and are the size of the bottom of small soda or coffee cup. The size was disappointing but it actually did the job well. It leaves sort of a sticky residue but that only lasts for a few minutes. These don't sting your eyes at all, just make sure you keep your eyes closed. The pads were really moist and there's a lot inside. I bought this for travel, not for everyday use. It's only a dollar so I suggest trying it out! Tip: if you're having trouble removing waterproof mascara, rip two of the pads in half, and place one under each eye so that your eyelashes hang over it. Then, take the other two pads you ripped in half and press them over each eye. This way you're creating a sandwich with the makeup removing pads and your lashes. Let the makeup remover dissolve the mascara for a few minutes (just sit/lay down and relax in the meantime) but make sure you press down. Simply remove the pads when you're done and wipe away any excess with the clean sides of the pads and that's it! I learned this method from a professional makeup artist guru on YouTube (forgot the name....). This method even works for removing Maybelline's mascaras that are nearly impossible to take off such as Falsies an One by One. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
