The Body Shop Shea Body Butter
This body butter really takes advantage of all the benefits of shea butter. I love how my skin feels after I apply it. The winter months really take their toll on my skin, and when I use the shea line from The Body Shop, I find my skin to be very moisturised. This body butter is absorbed very quickly, and it never feels sticky or oily/greasy. The more I use it, the better my skin feels. I think that it is a bargain, I don't have to use a lot of product to get the benefits, and a tub is large and lasts quite well for me. It is really effective on my hands, knees, elbows, and my feet. It promotes the health of my skin and protects it from the elements. The fragrance is very subtle, and I can apply any fragrance and not have to worry about the clash of scents. I recommend it to many of my friends, as well as my family. It is a wonderful product. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter
I adore most of the body butters that The Body Shop has created, and I love to use this one in the summer, it has such a nice summery fragrance, and after working out in the yard in the summer, my skin deserves a little pampering. Thsi body butter moisturises dry skin so nicely. It soaks right into my dry areas, and it never feels sticky or greasy. It makes my skin so soft and smooth. I can't imagine my skin without this butter in the summer, it really pampers my skin. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter
I love The Body Shop body butters, and this one is no exception. The fragrance is divine and very feminine. The moisturising properties can't be beat. This body butter is so soothing to dry skin and it keeps my skin in top shape. The fragrance is nicely layered with the other Japanese Cherry Blossom line, they are just such a nice line of products that any woman with skin care woes would love. The body butter just soaks in, it is never sticky or greasy, and in Michigan, the winters are terribly harsh, and this body butter really makes a huge difference in my skin. It is worth every cent, and my skin is worth a little pampering. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love It!
I have ridiculously dry skin on my legs and this product feels great after a shower. My favorite is the coconut- it smells just like summer! The only thing I don't particularly care for is that it has parabens in it. Some reviewers say their skin dosen't absorb it, maybe it's because my skin is particularly dry, but absorption isn't a problem for me. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Made me taste weird!
Need I say more? If I wasn't careful about not putting my hands to my mouth (to apply lip gloss with a finger, wipe away crumbs, etc.) I got a taste of this stuff, and it is potent and terrible. My boyfriend wouldn't go near me when this stuff was on my body, or after I'd used the matching body scrub. Plus it didn't absorb--leaving my skin greasy, not hydrated--and both my boyfriend and mom hated the smell. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Really GREAT lotion
The smell...oh my god, the smell. This body butter is absolutely divine! I'm obsessed with the scent and it's a really good lotion to boot. Works really well and extra dry areas like the knees and elbows. And if you believe in the claims people make about cocoa butter, it'll help with stretch marks and skin tone as well. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Orange You Glad You Tried This?
Yes, I know. I have a wierd sense of humor. But there's nothing funny about this Satsuma body butter because it makes the skin so soft, actually - all The Body Shop body butters do but particularly I believe this one irritates my skin a bit, not a whole lot but I experience some redness when I shave and apply this after as a moisturizer. Perhaps it is the daring scent of tangerines and oranges that bring a vivid picture of citrus fruit whenever I smell this but I feel as if this isn't the right scent for me. After a while, I think about these fruit being wilted and somehow the scent reminds me of just that - wilted citrus fruit. Don't get me wrong, I think citrus fruits are great but I really don't want to be smelling like I've been farming in the orchards or the fields all day plucking them and putting them in a basket as great as that sounds so I can eat them all day, I'd want something more feminine or softer like floral notes or vanilla based or even fruits that don't smell so sour. Still, for those who like citrus scents, I would recommend this because regardless of the scent, at the end of the day when you touch your skin you'll find that it may be worth having around and who knows, the cute guy you see at the gym might even like it? — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 8 people said helpful

Tropical Spa Brought To You By The Body Shop
Growing up, I was raised with the notions that were instilled in me that papaya was a miracle worker for the skin. It is supposed to keep skin tone even, contains vitamins that repair and maintain the skin, as well as being healthy for the body all together. Well, when I opened the jar to get a whiff of the smell, I was taken away by it. It is so light and extremely calming for me to endure the aroma of this papaya body butter. I seem like I may be exaggerating but I've tried quite a few body butters and I love The Body Shop body butters because they're soft, not chunky or hard that I have to dig my nails into but just a thick cream that fully absorbs in the skin and gets welcomed into the layers of my epidermis keeping it soft and supple all day. Goodbye ashiness! This is my all time favorite body butter scent from The Body Shop and it doesn't overpower any scent that I may layer on myself that day, it actually makes strong scents softer and more deliverable. I love how soft to the touch my skin gets with this and after a couple months of use, I've even noticed my skintone is more even than it was with using just a regular moisturizer. Hooray for this! I'd be totally sad if this one particularly became a discontinued product. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful

Ahhh... Yummy! Strawberries.
A candied scent of strawberries, nourishing components, silky formula, and well absorbing; this is the perfect body butter. The main reason why it lacked two stars was the price tag, it seems ridiculously high for a body butter but nonetheless still worth splurging on every now and then because my skin absorbs this well and the strawberry is a scent that's pleasant and light which can also integrate with other scents that I use without disturbing the chemistry of them but being amicable and delivers a wafting scent of pleasant notes all together. This is my favorite to use for a back rub or body rub because the scent is uplifting and it is a very fruity scent which in a way energizes me. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful
