Just Ok...
I have been using the original MoroccanOil treatment on my hair for months and I adore it. I just recently got the Josie Maran Argan Oil in a set from Sephora and I was disappointed with it in comparison to MoroccanOil brand. It is very thick and I did not feel silky in my hand. I also did not feel that it spread very easily in my hands or on my hair. There were a few pros that I found with this product. I LOVE that it has a dropper so that you can get just the right amount of product that you need... where as others (such as MoroccanOil) do not have that option. The other pro is that it is un-scented so that people with sensitivity to smell should handle this product nicely. I personally love the scent of MoroccanOil, so that was something that I missed. My new staple
I had been looking for not only a night time moisturizer that would enhance my skin but also not be chock full of chemicals. I saw this on QVC one day and was instantly attracted by the fact that it is 100% natural. Not only that but (according to Josie) purchases benefit the farmers and workers in Morocco, where this oil is from. I have been using this for the past 4 months or so and I can say that not only is my face completely moisturized, but it never makes me break out and I've noticed that the fine lines around my eyes are disappearing. Add to that the fact that you can use this oil just about anywhere (I also use it on my cuticles and my legs after shaving) you really can't go wrong! Other reviewers have mentioned the price as an issue ($28) however for the amount and the benefits you get, it's more than worth it. I have spent over $50 on a Lancome moisturizer in the past that did next to nothing. LUV: Argan Oil. JM Overpriced
I LUV and use Argan oil all the time (face, hands, body, hair). I bought this and liked it, and also bought a huge amount (4oz) on EBAY, eco cert organic. I am on my 3rd 4 oz bottle from the same seller. I find the JM brand and what I use to be the same, and I pay $30 or less for 4 oz compared to the HUGE price for JM. good product for dry skin
I add a couple of drops of this to my night time moisturizer in the winter to really fight dryness. It isn't oily or heavy and in the morning my skin is soft and hydrated. Great Moisturizer!
I originally bought this oil because of its organic and fair trade premise-- it is grown in Morocco and the people who process this are the women who are getting paid fair wages. When I tried it the first time, I broke out, but I also did not use my acne cream. Good Moisturizer
I got a sample of this and was a little hesitant to put oil on my face as I have acne prone skin. But after a few applications I noticed my skin had a very dewy, well moisturized look to it. I use this with my regular skin care routine replacing it with my moisturizer 3x a week and it works well. My little sample lasted 5 months and I purchased the regular sized bottle, which will probably last me a year. For me I couldn't use this everyday as my moisturizer but its a great complement to my current skin care routine, its best during the winter months and after my weekly facial treatment. Love Argan Oil
Great for skin, hair and nails. Contains a substancial amout of vitiman E, which is great for reducing the appearance of stretch marks and dark spots. Not too impressed!
