since my freshman year in college, i started using these indie lashes on just the outer corner of my eyes, and its become a trademark of mine. It gives you big, flirty, girly cartoon eyes, and when you use the semi permanent adhesive [very similar to super glue, so practice with the strip lash adhesive FIRST, untill you wont get it in your eye!] you can sleep in them, shower in them and do anything in them you'd do in the bed or the shower [....;)] with them on, looking great and staying put. every once in a while one of mine gets a weird crinkle and points an odd way, but then i just replace the rebel and im my perfect lashed self again. mascara goes right over them like their your own too, FYI. — 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 14 of 14 people said helpful

I loved these lashes when I put them on the first time. They looked so natural that no one realized I was wearing falsies! However.....when I went to take them off.....I had a really difficult time. They really are meant for long term use. Even with the remover, I ripped out a bunch of my real eyelashes! It hurt taking them off and the remover burned my eyes! Please use caution when removing and leave them on longer than the 3 days that I left mine on. I love these lashes. I have just gone from the $300 salon lash extensions to these. The salon extensions require you get them filled every 2-3 weeks which cost anywhere from 50-75 dollars depending on the amount of lashes that needs to be replaced. Although I liked those, I find that these are much more inexpensive, you can add more volume and length to what you find is acceptable, and application is easy and takes place in your own home. It does take practice, so don't expect to have a perfect set of lashes the first time. I recommend dipping the lash in the glue, waiting about 10 sec for the glue to set, then hold the lash in place for about 10 seconds. I also use the long length for the outer corners, mid lenth for the middle, and short for the inner corners. Longevity of the lashes depends on how you care for them. Try not to rub or pull. Do not apply mascara if not necessary, and carefully wash off makeup with baby soap or any type of mild soap using a q-tip. I LOVE the look I get with these lashes, but they defininitely do take some getting used to putting on. I always start from the inside corner of the eye, with a shorter lash, placing two of the shorter ones, then one medium length lash at the center of my eye lid, and finishing up the look with two long lashes at the outside corner. They give you the best, most natural look of any fake lash! Also, if you are going to put mascara on after placing them (to blend your natural lashes with the false ones) make sure and place the false ones FIRST and wait for the glue to dry, then put mascara on just the area closest to your eye, being careful not to put too much on the ends of the false lashes or the look can get a bit unreal and tacky. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
