Not for everyone (but for me)
A lot of people say that #4 is too dark, but it's just right for me. You only need the tiniest dab on a finger to fill in your brow and the MAJOR thing is to blend VERY well or else it does go on too dark. I use an angled eye liner brush to blend in. I used to use a pencil and dark eyeshadow to fill in my brows and I am convinced that this product will never have me going back to my old regimen. With my old routine, my brows would look faded and ashy after a few hours, but this stays on all day without fading on me. A Little Goes A Long Way
After trying many different eyebrow pencils and powder, this product is the winner hands down! It is waterproof/sweatproof, but is easy to wash off. I dab just a little drop to the top of my hand and use an angled brow brush to apply. When I say little drop, I mean little! Unique product but....
I've know about this product for years, as my best friend always used it. I've recently had problems with sparsity and wanted a more defined shape than powder can give. I remember her using this and that it was ultra precise, so i picked up #3, the dark brown color. i bought the refill because i didn't feel like spending the $30+ on the kit that comes with two mini brushes. i tried it out and while it was totally unique for a brow product, the result was way too dark and garish. i have black hair and fair skin and i looked like i tattooed my eyebrows on. you are supposed to obviously use a light-handed approach to fill in your brows, but by the time you end up defining your ends, it's all too much (that plus the color was way too dark). however it's extremely long wearing. it did get oily and smear between my brows where i used it because i had overplucked and spaced them too far apart. i returned it. for awhile i couldn't find anything that fit the bill, so i repurchased it , this time with the kit, thinking that the mini brushes (one angled, one line drawing) would be so ultra-precise that it would be a more natural result. the line drawing one is too fine (maybe a dozen hairs) so that one took forever. the angled brush, while compact and short is THICK and the ends flare out- so it constantly went outside the lines i was trying to create. and ultimately in the end, the color was again too harsh and i looked washed out and cheap. the final drawback from this product is the color selection. while 4 might sound typical for brow colors, they are a strange bunch. #1 is for blondes, #2 could be a nice option for brunettes but was wayyy too warm, it didn't match at all and looked like i had put dye on my eyebrows. #3 is brown black, and again even too strong for my black hair, and the #4, well who uses black eyebrow color??? if the line comes out with a better color selection, i might be back, with a better brush of course! — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

Best I've tried so far

Great Product
This was the only waterproof eyebrow enhancer I could find before going on vacation, and it turned out to be great. It takes some practice to get the application right, but not to worry, you will get it after a few tries. Love it, love it
I have this one in the dark brown. I find this easier to apply and control than brow pencils. I've used pencils in the past and it's so easy to have a heavy hand and I look like a clown with over-drawn, too dark brows.
