  I Love It

  This product can be used on the lip, eyelid, and even as a blush. I usually can't find good reds for eye make-up but this is the best by far and lasts even when I go dancing. December 24, 2009, 7:13 pm

  Too oily

  I wanted to try it since it said it could be used for three things. Nice as a lip color and cheek stain but TOO OILY for the eye area. December 17, 2009, 12:09 am

  Great pigmented colors, but perhaps more suited to stage makeup than everyday

  I own two of these and am really impressed by the color range and the quality of the cream eyeshadow in every respect by its staying powder. Its creamy consistency is easy to work with, its colors are rich and striking, and it works well both alone or under another shadow. Using it as a base can really make other powder s...hadows pop in ways that I haven't experienced with other products and its wet consistency can be a real help for shadows that have poor pay off or don't adhere to the lid well on their own. That said, these cream shadows do not dry to a powder finish. They stay creamy and moist until you take them off. This really hurts the wear of a shadow and can lead to creasing, smearing, etc. especially if you don't set it with a powder on top. Even applied under a powder eye shadow, the wear time on these is significantly lower than what I get with most powder or cream to powder shadows I've tried. I think my best run was 6 hours, which makes this eyeshadow impractical for me for regular wear. That said Make Up For Ever is a line marketed at professional makeup artists so I don't think all of their products are intended for the casual user who just wants to be able to apply their makeup in the morning and have it look decent when they return home at the end of the day. Some of it seems intended for stage and photography, purposes where longevity is less of a concern. For that, this product might be ideal as there are some effects that cream can produce that powders can't match. I, however, am a more germane user of cosmetics. I love dramatic makeup, but I only need stuff that can get me through the day. This won't. So while I don't want to poorly mark down this product because of that as I'm pretty sure I'm not using it quite as intended, I can't say I'd repurchase or recommend it to others.   Make Up For Ever Flash Color...that's what! Ok, this product is bad, really bad. What I hate the most about this product is that it was ever invented. The color looks washed out if you apply lightly and if you apply medium to heavy, it creases or is hard to stay on. The makeup-artist informed me that I have to set the cre...am with a translucent powder or if I prefer I could set it with an eyeshadow...Well, I did just that and it does not set! It is creamy and weird and I marched directly back to sephora and got my money back. MAC paintpot's are much better and they stay put and last. MUF, you stink! December 2, 2008, 9:58 am

  This stuff is freaking awsome!

  I love this stuff you can use as a base or alone, I love the cream to apply on my lower lash line. I would have love to have purchased the whole collection, but I would have emptied my wallet. February 27, 2008, 10:10 am
