Better than others, but not the best either

The brush of this mascara is quite fine. I like the small size because it separates lashes very well, and I see no clumps. However, it does not lengthen as much as some of my other favorite mascaras. Also, if you want to curl your eyelashes, you will need a good eyelash curler. BTW, removing is no hassle for me. I use DHC Deep Cleansing Oil or Clinique Wash Away Gel Cleanser with warm water, and the mascara comes off easily. — 2 years, 5 months ago

you know, i wasnt liking the look this mascara gave me, kinda too idk, thin? and sparse, which is well, my lashes fault really. but it does make them look way dark. and it stayed exactly like i just put it on, all day, while using greasy eye balm, sweating, being in the sun, crying, and i even slept in it and woke up looking totally freshly applied. i have other tubing mascaras and they dont stay as well, or as long. and the color is very dark. the brush gets all the lashes too, even tho i dont have much! so i guess, even if its not the most amazing look ive ever had, it doesnt budge at all. Try Estee Lauder Zero-Smudge Doublewear instead

This is good smudgeproof waterproof mascara. It lasts all day through rain, tears, humidity, allergies, etc. without budging. It goes on easily and defines and lengthens lashes, but does not thicken them. You have to move the brush in a zigzag motion to thoroughly coat and separate them. It removes easily with very warm water, but is messy as it clumps off. This is gentle on your lashes if you need to wear waterproof daily, like I do. If you already have long, thick lashes, go ahead and give this a try. Estee Lauder's Zero-Smudge Doublewear is much better--it also thickens lashers and comes off in neater, smaller flakes with warm water (more expensive, but worth it). — 2 years, 9 months ago

Definetly Long Lasting!

This is a great mascara if you have oily skin or oily eyelids where your mascara usually runs and you have raccoon eyes at the end of the day. This mascara will not budge unless you use warm water to take it off. Living in Hawaii, I used to surf a lot when this product first came out and I tested it out while I was surfing to see whether it would live up to its claim. And what do you know... My mascara stayed put and didnt run one bit over a 2 hour session of surfing! It does lengthen your lashes a bit also which is great but it just has that natural look to it where you can barely tell you are wearing mascara. Use it for that "I just woke up but look damn good" look. It does dry fast so be sure to apply it quickly if you layer your mascara otherwise it will clump. When you want to take it off, use warm water and your regular facial cleanser. It should come off easily and will look like flakes or clumps of mascara. If you feel like there are still bits of it left after washing your face, take a clean spooly or mascara brush and run it through gently. i liked how i didnt have to do more than 2 coats to get nice volume and length on my eyes. it's kind of hard to get off though. after i wash it off, it just leaves a residue and it continues to do so. i love the wand and brush head though, and the size of it is nice because i just take it on the go. i DO wake up with eye infections sometimes from the product since it never wants to come off. 14 bucks isnt that bad, but this is just something i didnt like from clinique for once. — 2 years, 2 months ago

I love this mascara. It is my new favorite!! I am very thrifty, and generally never buy these expensive, and over-hyped department store make up products, but this one was well worth it. I like it because it is very hard for me to find a mascara that doesn't smudge up all over my under-eye concealer. It is very long lasting, and virtually indestructible to tears, weather, and other situations. However, by the end of the long day I find that it does kind of get all hard on my eye lashes, and flakes off, especially when it them comes into contact with moist eye lotion.
