Works great with my waves

by harleykins (5 reviews)
When I hit my 30's, I suddenly had naturally wavy hair. This iron/crimper works wonderfully when I want to wear my hair more natural. I don't have the patience to dry my hair with the diffuser so what I end up straightening out some with my vicious blow-drying, this handy iron puts it back in. It's really been worth it!02/21/2008

      Fun!

I love this iron! I have always wanted those cute beach waves you see in magazines, but I was "blessed" with immensely thick, stick straight, blond hair (which happens to be past my elbows in length). This iron has given me those fun waves, and some people even ask if it's natural! It's quick, easy, doesn't burn or fry my hair and stands up in humidity and wet weather. Highly recommended! Cool tool

      by b1bethany (11 reviews)
Gives defined, shiny waves that really do last until your next hair-washing. Clunky and a little awkward at times, and obviously takes awhile to use if you have really long hair like I do, but definitely a fun alternative to straightening. Very affordable, under $20. Great Way to Get Beach Waves

June 12, 2008, 8:47 am I picked up the Revlon 3-Barrel Jumbo Waver while on my trip to Denver. My husband couldn't quite figure out what it was, but it was too exhausting to explain it. At any rate, I just got around to trying it out, and it works really well. My one complaint is in the design of the tool. When I was using it, somehow I kept accidentally turning the power switch to the off position, which obviously was a problem. I need my irons hot, hot, hot, and I would have to stop midway through and let it heat up a bit more. I'm not sure if that was just complete user error or what, but it's something I'm going to have to pay attention to the next time I use it. Other than that, this iron works exactly as it claims - you clamp it on small sections of hair (I sectioned my hair exactly as I would if flat-ironing it, so as to make sure I kept all the hair consistent), unclamp, and move down the hair shaft. It's super quick and easy, and the waves you get stay in quite well, if the iron is hot enough. Because it's actually easier and less labor-intensive than flat-ironing, it is a great way to get summer hair without a lot of fuss. Well worth the $20 I paid for it! June 12, 2008, 8:47 am

      by mmb51703 (17 reviews)
I could never get a nice outcome with this. I thought my hair looked terrible after using this. I ended up returning it. May 6, 2008, 11:22 am
