I got a free razor way back over 10 years ago and I've been buying replacement cartridges but still have the same one. It's basic without any bells or whistles, but it works the best for me. I've used the gel-strip cartridges and those leave my skin gooey and I hate that so I go back to the original cartridges. Works great, easy to control and I rarely get any nicks. Good but pricey

these provide a close shave with a comfortable handle. However, they are a bit too expensive for me. I find that disposable cheaper razors do just as well. Still, it is worth a try and the product does work. — 5 months ago

I have been using this basic Gillette Venus razor for sometimes now. Unlike some cheap disposable razor, I can use this one for several times before blades get really dull. The razor head moves so it makes easy to shave around my elbows and knees. Ripped to Shreds!!!

The quality of this razor has come down a lot since it's introduction. Perhaps they're cutting down on the cost, but I notice that it doesn't last as long as it used to and the blades seem to be less heavy duty. This is still powerful though, so you have to make sure you've been in the shower for 10 minutes and your skin's well hydrated and lubricated before you start shaving. Venus Breeze version is better because it helps lubricate skin without the extra step. — 3 years ago

A timeless classic

This is one of only a few products that I have used faithfully for years. It removes all of the unwanted hair with one stroke and doesn't nick my ankles and knees. Don't be fooled by the so called moisturizing strip, you'll need to follow each shave with lotion. The replacement heads are expensive, but you can save by getting them in bulk at Costco. — 3 years, 6 months ago

Good razor

This is definitely better than a disposable razors. As far as replacement head razors, I'd say it is pretty good if in the upper price range of similar razors. The blades are pretty sharp and last a fairly long time. The only thing that doesn't last at all is the moisture strip...it'll be useless after one or two shaves. The heads are easy to replace and moves quite easily so that you don't have to put any pressure to shave. Just skin the razor over your skin and you'll get a nice close shave. The handle has a nice grip and is fairly long so you can hold it in a variety of positions. — 3 years ago
