Gillette Venus Divine Razor Reviews

great grip
The handle on this is is the most ergomic of all, gives me the best grip out of all the other models, which is great since I'm usually very foamed up in soap when I use this. However the cartridge is not much different from the original. I like the breeze better since it has bigger lubricating strip. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

It's very basic in shavors
I didn't have any huge issues with the razor. It's just not the best I've used. I would probably not buy it again. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Simply...Divine
I used this razor for a year. That is the longest I think I ever committed to a razor. I threw it out though one day in anger after cutting myself one too many times with my very dulled blade (I definitely wasn't replacing my blades enough at the time), and I regretted it later when I couldn't find it again in stores. I used the Schick Hydro for a long time also, but have recently given up on that since I was constantly needing to replace the heads for it and just don't like the jojoba stuff. (I just wrote a review for it, but that's pretty much the gist of it.) Anyway, I just purchased an Embrace, and I can't decide if it really gives a closer shave or not. Some people swear it does, but for me it seems about the same, but I like the shower pod better because it sticks to my shower and the one I got with the Divine was just designed to sit on like a soap dish or something. The Embrace is really nice, but so is the Divine, and since the Embrace heads are more expensive than the Divine ones, and I can still find the heads for the Divine, and most Venus razors work with whatever Venus heads you buy for them, I will definitely be buying the Divine heads once I finish my Embrace ones...which could take a while, since both the Divine and Embrace heads are made to last. Of all the razors I've tried, the Divine is definitely my favorite. — 10 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Good for some body parts
I do not enjoy shaving, and prefer to wax when financially possible. This razor is only good for some body parts. It works well for legs and armpits. It does deliever a close shave in those areas without having to go over the same area more than once. Although the design of this razor was not mean to those crevises and hard to reach places (ladies you know what I'm talking about). — 3 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Disappointed
I've been using gillette razors since I started shaving and have always liked them. I've been very disappointed with the Venus Divine. The first shave is great but after that I can never get a smooth shave. The moisture bands don't seem to do anything and the blade RUSTS. Not something I want to be trying to shave with. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

I used to love.
I used this razor for 5+ years before I switched over to the Venus Embrace. I really liked it when I was using it, but there are some problems in comparison to the new Venus razor I am now using. The handle is very slick, and I found that I could easily lose control over it (the Embrace has a rubber like handle, very convenient), but it does form to the hand nicely. The heads for this razor are cheaper and smaller than the Embrace, so they are more affordable to replace and can get into smaller areas easier. For a three razor containing head, this does get a pretty close shave, but I feel the Embrace left me even smother. It's a great razor, but the Embrace was an upgrade for me. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

The Is The Best Razor
I have been using this razor for a few months and I love it! My legs have never been smoother, my husband even noticed how soft they are! I think it shaves very well and the best part is it doesn't dull quickly, so you can stretch money further. The handle on the Divine Razor is really easy to grip, so that made it nice to shave with. This is my new favorite razor! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love It
I had used this for a couple years and loved it. The Gillette Venus Embrace recently came out and is my new love since it has 5 blades instead of the 3 that Divine offers. But, still no complaints about the Divine! I shaved daily with it and changed my cartridge out every other week. Great product! — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Trying to be more earth friendly
I have been trying to not use as much plastic, and recycle, so I decided to buy this razor after being completed dissapointed with the Schick Quattro. I was pleasantly suprise as it was a very close shave. Very happy! — 4 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
