N.Y.C. New York Color Cover Sticks Reviews

not bad
A very decent concealer for the money. I have it in yellow, and it does a pretty good job covering the dark circles, I also use it to cover redness here and there. Goes on smooth, blends well, and stays on pretty well, not worse than more expensive products anyway. Like with any other thick concealers, for the best results make sure to rub it on your hand a bit, so it gets warm and softer, then apply with a brush or your finger. The packaging is fine, nothing fancy, but sturdy enough to survive life in a makeup bag. Definitely recommend it. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Blech!
If you need cover stick/concealer, spend a few extra dollars and get something that is higher quality. This is NOT one of N.Y.C.'s better products. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Outstanding job soldier
This is a drugstore must have - the texture is thick but can be made into the perfect consistency if you just put some in your palm and then rub your finger in it to warm it. It becomes a thicker foundation texture and adheres right to your skin. I have the normal concealer and the yellow toned one for the under eye area and both work like a dream. A must! — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

Almost Sheer Coverage
For $1.27, this concealer is worth the money, but still a little on the cheap side. The coverage is rather sheer (yellow stick) and swiping it over and over again on my under eye circles make me fear for my delicate eye area. It does stay well under foundation and powder, but I can't tell if that's actually concealer I'm removing at the end of the day, or just foundation... — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Ehhh
Honestly for under eyes iw ould not recommend it, it settles into fine lines as well as if you directly apply it to your eyes the formula is super thick and you are tugging almost to get that "creamy" feel but for such a delicate area you dont want to be tugging or dragging the product there. For coverage it can be built up to be a medium/full coverage. I would recommend this around the nose area and maybe for blemishes for those with a normal to combination skin. For super dry or super oily i personally dont think this is right for you. — 1 week, 2 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

My cheap highlighter
This is what I use as concealer. I have dark eyelids so I use it to conceal that and also under my eyes. I like to use it on the tip of my nose, top of my lip and inbetween my eyebrows. It makes a great but cheap highlighter — 2 weeks, 6 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Nope.
Nope.Nope.Nope.Nope.Nope. This is just...ughh. Why? This is the worst concealer that was ever invented besides the lead-paste victorian-era women spread upon their face...ughh — 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Amazing!
I use it to cover neck hickeys, when my boyfriend accidentally marks my neck. When I first bought it, i thought it would be crap because of the price, but since it was basically free, I bought one to cover blemishes, before applying my foundation. But I never get blemishes really, only maybe one or two twice a year. So I kept it in my makeup drawer for a few months till I got a large dark hickey. I was desperate to cover it cause it looked so trashy. I tried everything, but nothing worked, until I used my NYC stick, it made it disappear. And lasted ALL day. Now I'm in love with it. I should've bought a bunch when I could, cause now I can never find them, no matter what store I go to:( — 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

Just no
I can't stand this concealer. It goes in very thick and is pretty much impossible to blend. On top of that, it hardly covers anything! It's cheap in price, but also in quality. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
