Natural Look

Color is very sheer. Feels like lip balm. Is very hydrating. Gives subtle shine. I got this in Fawn Nestle which is a sheer mauve pink, no shimmer. Since my lips are naturally rose colored this just intensified the rose color which I personally don't care for.

Fab!

I purchased this product in the shade Boccacino. It is a nice nude colour that doesn't make fair skinned people look washed out. Hydrates and keeps lips smooth. The colour lasts surprisingly well for a balm-type lipstick.

Wonderful sheer color

I have three of these great lipsticks. The color is sheer, pretty, and wears pretty well for s sheer lipstick. It is perfect for days when you want to look professional and polished , but are not quite in the mood for a heavier lipstick. It is wonderfully moisturizing.

Sheer, subtle, beautiful

If you appreciate the natural look, like sheer to semi-sheer color, and aren't a fan of overpoweringly "perfumey" lipcolor, this lipstick fits the bill. Although sheer lipcolor generally requires frequent reapplication, this lipstick isn't drying like so many (hence the "balm" factor, I guess). This product has a subtle shine and comes in several shades that closely match my ...read morenatural lipcolor, but improve on it. My favorite is "Fawn Nestle," a pretty tawny mauve shade.

Great lip stick, but too soft in tube

I love how this feels on my lips, and it stays put pretty well, considering it's a balm. Colors are also rich and less sheer than I would have thought, which is a good thing. However, what annoys me is that I've had them break off in the tube several times because they're so soft. A couple of times they landed on the floor and I had to throw them away. Not a good thing, considering the price.

Too Soft

Like most Vincent Longo lipsticks, this baby balm is beautiful, but soft and breaks VERY easily! I am not rough with my makeup and use careful application, but it is not worth the twenty something dollars to have have it break on you after a few uses.

Innovative product, but pricey!

This product is a beautiful marriage of lipstick and lip balm, with sun protection (SPF 12) through in for good measure. The shade I have is "Positano" which a sheer berry. I was going to describe it as without shimmer, but there's very, very small, nearly unnoticable shimmer in this. It doesn't look cheap, just luminous and pretty. It smells like a subtle vanilla and is extremely moisturizing. This is a great product to have.
