OK

Expensive & not a long lasting color. Cute packaging & great color bronzer though! Wish this did not fade off my skin so fast. I bought this for $20 & it came with a full sized lip gloss that is delicious & a beautiful golden color. Would not purchase unless I got that deal again!

On the fence

I struggled to come up with an appropriate review for this product as I really like it...but not for what the label says it does! I really like the scent as in my opinion it doesn't stink like so many other self tanners and it gives me a soft glow but the glow doesn't last long and even though it is a gradual tanner it still takes too long to build. What I do like it for is a body bronzer. This...read more lotion can give you a nice shimmery bronze glow on your legs, arms and shoudlers for sure. It is great for a summer evening out when you want to wear a sundress or something strapless. I also like that I never found a streak and it didn't turn my super pale skin orange. Unfortunately I think there are less expensive body brozers out there so I don't see me ever purchasing this product again.

Great "WASHABLE" Tanner

This has no staying power but I like the formula for a one night tan. The color is nice and the smell is as well. If you're looking to build a tan, this isn't the formula for you.

Pretty good

I was pretty pale when I started using this. I think you need to have a base natural tan to really reap the benefits from this. But it smells good, and has a sexy sheen.

There are MUCH better products out there

First,I must say I liked the pina colada scent. I agree with the others reviews that this is more of a bronzer than a tanner. I found this difficult to apply evenly the first few times and really had to work with it to avoid streaking. The color is a shimmery gold/peachy-ish color that I liked for when I needed instant color on my legs & arms. It just isn't worth all the effort I had to use to apply it evenly. I also found it rubbed off on my clothing, sheets too.

If you want a quick glow for the evening this is a good product. I am fair and have red hair and for me this product was typical. It looked natural, had a slight but pleasant odor and a hint of shimmer. BUT, if you want fake tan or to 'build a tan' this product is NOT it. It mostly showers off and you are starting fresh every time.

Not worth it

Have bought this a couple times through Sephora.. I am not impressed at all. The tanner most definitely smells like copper mixed with pina colada, it's very odd. This product is fantastic for an instant "tanned look" but it washes off as soon as you shower. It never builds a tan. I have used this product 3 times, first time in hopes the tan would build up. The other 3 times I bought it as a quick fix, for a "1 day, washes off in water" tanner. Don't waste your money..

so-so

My friend has this lotion and raves about it, but personally I found it to be so-so (maybe too high of expectations?). CONS: It definitely is just a one time bronzer (can't build color with it). It is extremely expensive, I bought the version for just the fact ($20!!). It is a little greasy and it has a shimmer to it, but I suppose it is more of a bronzer, not a self-tanner, I think I will like ...read moreit a lot more to enhance my real summer tan instead of inducing a fake one. PROS: Although it is expensive, and the face version was only about TWO ounces, it does last long because a little goes a long way (it's kinda of soupy, I dab it on my wrist first and dab it around my face in sections). Be careful to apply it to one section at a time or else it WILL dry super fast and get streaky if you try and go back and rub it in properly. Another thing I liked is that it truly is a bronze color (not orangey at all) which is hard to find, especially since any self-tanner (i.e. Neutrogena self tanner) makes my olive skin an unnatural orange fake color unlike my real deep tan color when I do get tan. Overall, not terrible, but not the best... still looking. I'm thinking of trying Sun Laboratories self tanning lotion next.
