In Love!
by westernnut (11 reviews)This is the absolute best eyeshadow primer yet. Apply a thin layer to lids, let it dry and your eyeshadow will stay put all day. I'm amazed that when I go to remove my makeup at night my eyeshadow looks the same as when I applied it in the morning. You need an eye makeup remover to get this stuff off, but no creasing or smu...dging all day. I run a thin line of it UNDER my lower lashes and my liner stays put too. AMAZING!!!
by RockvilleGirl (20 reviews)I know that UDPP almost has a cult following...but for me it set too quickly and you really could only do a wash of color and not multiple colors with blending. Then I found Too Faced Shadow Insurance. This stuff is awesome! It has great staying power and still allows you to use multiple colors and blend and it doesn't look... cakey at all!!! Love it! Rave Review
by loridz (13 reviews)This product is awesome. I have issues with my eye shadow staying put. By the middle of my workday, my eye shadow has usually faded or is gone completely. When I started using this product, after an entire day had gone by (including, work, walking my dogs in high temperatures, working out, etc.), my eye shadow looks as i...t did at the start of the day. I highly recommend this product July 18, 2008, 7:27 pm5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

Perfect for fans of Urban Decay's Primer Potion Who Got Sick of the Packaging
by shriekingviolet (76 reviews)Top 500 ReviewerTrusted ReviewI tried this product because I heard that it was extremely similar to UDPP, which I had been using, but with more convenient packaging. That's pretty much what I've experienced, so consider me converted. In terms of performance and texture, the two products are nearly identical. The only difference I can tell is that Sha...dow Insurance may be a bit thicker and creamier, but I had to really study it to come up with that difference. If you decanted both products into identical pots and handed them to me, I'm not sure I could tell you which was which. They both do a tremendous job of keeping my eye shadow from creasing all day long without compromising the color of whatever I apply on top of it or drying out my lids. They both cost approximately the same and hold about the same amount of product, but Shadow Insurance comes in MUCH better packaging so it feels like I'm getting more for my money as there's less packaging related product waste. With Primer Potion, I had to jump through hoops to get to the product once I had used the first third of it due to the cute but completely impractical packaging. Shadow Insurance comes in a soft squeeze tube that makes getting the very last of it a breeze. For that alone, I absolutely can say this product is easily the best of the two. I'll definitely repurchase. March 23, 2009, 8:28 pm4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

No Creases! Yay!
by OhLaLaChrissy (6 reviews)I don't know why I didn't buy this product sooner. I've always had a problem with my eyeshadow creasing not long after applying it. I have really oily eyelids, along with my forehead, cheeks, and nose. I would just reapply my eyeshadow and it just looked like a caked on mess. I finally bought the Too Faced Shadow Insuranc...e and I am SO happy! To see a difference, I used the primer on one eyelid and none on the other. After only just three hours, the primerless eyelid was already creased and the shadow was fading. It looked terrible. How did I ever put up with this? The lid with primer was flawless! I checked every hour and it stayed put for over EIGHT hours! After about eight hours, the shadow did start to fade, but not as bad as the primerless eyelid. After 12 hours, I did notice a little creasing. I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I know that the Urban Decay Primer Potion is really popular, so I got a small sample of it at Sephora to compare the two. Well, they were pretty much the same. The Too Faced did go on my eyelids more easily and it felt more silky. But the results were the same. Here's my opinion. With the Urban Decay, the bottle design is really stupid. In order to get all the product in there, you have to literally saw the bottle into three parts. Then you have to scoop out the remaining product and put them in jars. And even if you do get all the remaining product, there's a possibility that the product might dry out. Plus that doesn't sound hygienically safe. I say get the Too Faced because the tube is squeezable, allowing you to get all the product inside. I really thought that this product wouldn't work. I was skeptical because my eyelids are so oily. I was pleasantly surprised and now I'm sold. This will be a staple in my beauty routine. Go get it! April 9, 2009, 7:23 am3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Silky smooth grip
by oldergirlbeauty (3 reviews)This was my first eyeshadow primer I tried, and I can't imagine switching to another. This silicone based primer glides on like a dream, and keeps your eyeshadows crease proof all day. It also makes the colors just pop out more than without any primer underneath. The only reason I didn't give this a 10 rating is because you... have to remember to knead the tube to mix the primer, or else when you open and squeeze first, you get some unmixed run-off first. TRY IT!
by LUVMYRED (6 reviews)I have spent enough money on primers to...well, just enough. This stuff is great. No crease, no fade, does not change the color of your shadow. Good job Too Faced. August 5, 2008, 4:56 pm2 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Can't go without it
by raeundercover (30 reviews)I don't even think of putting on eyeshadow without this first! My shadows stays on for at least 18 hours if not more come rain, sweat, and oil. It never smudges or fades away! It goes on nicely and provides a smooth even base for shadow. Amazing! June 7, 2009, 2:29 pm1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
