I absolutely love this lipstick in "Black Amethyst," which I purchased at Ulta. I tend to be easily bored and rarely purchase the same shade twice. This color was the exception. It is a soft wine shade and has the right amount of pigment and moisture for a sheer lipstick. The natural color of my top and bottom lips differ significantly, but I don't need a lipliner when using this product. In looking for a replacement for my now-discontinued Bobbi Brown sheer lipstick in Black Raspberry, I stumbled across this gem in Black Amethyst at an Ulta store. I could not be more thrilled with this product, moisturizes like crazy but doesn't slip off, looks natural but has the perfect amount of pigment, and best of all, the smaller-sized tube makes MUCH more sense to me than other brand's big lipsticks that I always get bored of before they even start to look like they've been used. The packaging is a little lacking considering the price tag, but a good lipstick in a plain tube is worth more to be than a bad one in a cute little case. While the price leans towards expensive, the quality is definitely worth it.
