If you are a fan of the original Venus razor, you're going to want to upgrade to Venus Embrace. It boasts five blades instead of three, which seems to offer a closer, smoother shave. The razor glides nicely over bony areas like knees and ankles and the "ribbons of moisture" do seem to prevent post-shaving dryness. Extra blades are not cheap, but when legs stay stubble-free longer (I get two days of prickle-free legs), it's worth the splurge.

This was actually the first razor that I used and it does provide good results. I love how it comes with a shower holder so that you can attach to the walls. The five blades definitely provide a nice close shave. Unfortunately results don't last long and you'd have to shave again every few days. Remember to use shaving cream for a closer shave. I was scared of the five blades at first, but it turned out to be great. But I honestly cannot say which one (Venus Embrace or Venus Breeze) I like more. Both shavers have the similar price range. While Embrace may give a bit closer and smooth shave, but Breeze's built-in shave gel bars are incredibly convenient. Oh, BTW, Embrace's shower pod to hold the razor in the shower is handy too. If you need a quick shave, then Venus Spa Breeze may be a better choice. But if you have a time and a can of shave gel, try Embrace.
