  The first razor I've enjoyed in years

  First off, it’s got 5 blades! It seemed really scary at first, but when I used it, it worked like it had 5 blades, but didn’t feel like it at all. It glided over my legs smoothly and I’d even consider using it without shaving cream, IF it wasn’t available. I also liked the fact that the top portion was flexible. It confo...rmed to the curves of my legs and made it really easy to do a quick shave. Normally, if I shave too quickly, I knick myself at least twice - on each leg.   Love It

  I love this razor, the down side is it is very costly. The company does supply decent coupons but because of the price I stretch the life out on these, my legs are really really smooth and very seldom do I nick or cut myself and I havent gotten any razor burn which is a huge thing since I have that problem with other razors July 28, 2008, 10:02 am

  I've been using Venus for years and with each new product they improve the quality. Pricey, yes,but they last longer than any other disposables. Was glad to see a coupon last week. May 14, 2009, 5:37 pm

  The best!

  This is the best Venus razor in my opinion. I get the smoothest shave, and I don't have to shave every day if I don't want to! Awesome! Yes, the refills are expensive, but so are all Venus razor refills. I will keep using this unless Venus tops themselves again!! August 1, 2008, 6:32 am

  causes too much razor burn

  I am a huge fan of the venus breeze, however the refills are pricey, so I decided to buy this razor. After a few uses I had to switch back to the breeze because I got such bad razor burn..also I hate having to deal with messy shave cream May 6, 2008, 5:11 pm

  I always love the latest venus razor better than I did the last, and I especially love this one. Absolutely no nicks or razor burn, which I had started to get with just the regular venus blades. A great close shave...I love it! May 3, 2008, 8:59 pm

  How Did We Ever Live With One Blade?

  I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of trying this razor. How much better can 5 blades be over my 3 I'd been using? Or the fact that the head is so large I didn't think my ankles would survive! But I was really able to get into all the nooks and crannies of my ankles, and with the 5 blades I didn't have to go over the ...same spots again and again. It was definitely a time saver. With the moisture strips, I felt like my knees and ankles were protected with less chance of getting knicked. Plus, you have to love the suction cup razor holder, very convenient and nice looking. I am in love with this razor, and it makes me feel like I've been living in the dark ages. March 18, 2009, 12:15 pm

  My Favorite!

  This is my favorite razor. My legs feel so smooth after shaving and I can go a couple of days before shaving again. Other razors that I have paid much more for leave my legs feeling like I have not shaved in three days.   not happy with this Venus razor

  I'm usually a Venus razor user, but I'm really not satisfied with this one. The moisturizing strip only works for like a week and then afterwards, I get really bad razor burn, even when using shaving cream. After I finish using the blade refills, I'm switching back to earlier versions of the Venus razor. August 8, 2008, 2:09 pm

  Fairly Nice

  I'm not a huge fan of razors in general, and this one is no magical exception. However, out of all the razors available, I'll have to pick Venus Embrace as one of the (if not *the*) best. It is true that you never get razor burns or nick or cuts--the razor is really flexible. Plus, there really is a certain ease and smoothn...ess that comes with this razor, not to forget efficiency. However, it still does not give you the closest shave ever (nothing close to waxing), so do not hope for magic when you are spending all that money on this. November 9, 2009, 4:29 pm
