These pricey high-temperature irons use highly publicized "ionic properties" to straighten wet hair and smooth cuticles without causing split ends. Although acting efficiently as a dryer like the cheaper Wigo flatiron, it takes several strokes for the narrow T3 plates to get coarse hair volume- and frizz-free for the day. Brownie points for the fact that it's thin enough to wrap dry hair around curling-iron style for wavy looks.

Great Iron

T3 blow-dryer vs. flat iron

Don't Fall for the "Ionic" Marketing
Falling for the "ionic" marketing, I bought this a few years ago. I have fine, fine hair, so I thought the tourmaline and ionic-ness was worth the money. Since then, I have used other hair straightners that were as effective without the high price tag.
