Infallible, Fails Miserably

Mixed feelings
This Infallible Lip Colour Duo was on sale at Target, and I wanted to try this one ever since I saw their TV ad featuring Beyonce. They had a nice selection of shades. I like the convenient packaging, and since it is not a double ended stick, it is easier to find in my cluttered purse. lol. But I am not completely happy with the product itself. The combination of the liquid lipcolor part and the top coat resulted in dryness on my lips. Oh yes, the color did not come off when I drank, so I agree that this is longer lasting than a standard long-wearing lipstick. However, soon my lips became very crusty and flaky even with the topcoat. Maybe I was not doing it right, I followed the direction though....anyway. I removed some of these flakes with a tissue, and of course some color came off. Then, I had to re-apply them again. So in the end, it did not make good sense to me. Not bad, not great...
Basically, it's not bad. I like it better than the other "long lasting" lipsticks I've tried. I found the lip color to be slightly less drying than others and I actually like the sugary sweet scent of the conditioning top coat. My lips tend to be very dry and I found that they peeled when I was wearing this, but I plan to try exfoliating my lips a little before I wear it next. The snappy case it comes in is very cool (even my brother was impressed with my "switchblade" lipstick) and I found the mirror quite handy. Long Lasting Color
I really love this lip product because the colors match my skin tone and give me a natural look and the color really lasts. I apply this in the morning and it lasts all day, through meals and weather and keeps my lips looking great. CRUMBLES
Crumbles on your lips, doesn't lat all day.. basically it was a hyped product. I shouldn't have bought into it. Waste of money.. Very Cool!
I love the design of the packaging as well as the performance of this lip color! The packaging can be used as a mirror and reminds me of a lighter. The conditioning topcoat is very smooth, hydrating and glossy. It does need to be reapplied often to keep my lips from drying out. This lipstick is so long lasting! Clumpy Mess
On one hand the balm it comes with is really good it makes your lips feel really good. However the lipstick clumps really easily, especially when with the balm.
