    Love! Love! Love!

I bought this product back when I was 17 and didn't think much of it. Since then I've tried everything from Noxema to Clinique and I always go back to my first love! I use this at night and in the mornings (along with the toner and oily/combination moisturizer) and my skin has never looked better! I ended up giving away my $200 worth of Clinique products because nothing works like Botanics!

    A Non-Drying Face Wash

This is a solid face wash. It removes oil without over-drying and it's reasonably priced. Did it brighten my skin? No. Did it improve my skin's circulation with the mystical properties of Horse Chestnut? Uh, no. Quite frankly, when I see catch phrases like "botanics," I think "marketing ploy." Besides, Horse Chestnut is pretty low on the ingredient list to do much good. Because it didn't live up ...read moreto its brightening claim, I won't give it above a 7, but it you're looking for a simple non-drying cleanser, then this should work for your oily skin.

    Love it!

I love this face wash! It's simple and refreshing. I didn't think it dried out my face like the other reviewers, but it didn't add any moisture either. The smell is wonderful and refreshing. I think it's great for a simple, everyday face wash. It rids my skin of oil and makeup which is what I wanted.

One of the worst cleansers I have tried

Harsh, stripped my face of all natural moisture, didn't lather, never "brightened" my skin. It was a waste of 7 dollars and I'll never use it again. I haven't had much luck with the boots botanics products in the first place. It's like they're trying to lure you in with nice packaging and the fact that it's "natural" but it's really just a cover for cheap, horrible products.

Too Harsh. Don't be Sucked in by the Pretty Label.

I'm a graphic designer and I'm a sucker for pretty, girly packaging. Anything aqua-colored with botanical graphics on the outside transports me to a calm tropical island in my mind. Looking back this was the only good thing about this product, other than a decent price point. This cleanser stripped my face of any moisture and made it feel "squeaky-clean" - which is never good for your sk...read morein. If you are upgrading from using Dial or Irish Spring bar soap on your face, this is a great product. But if you need a more sophisticated cleanser because of problem skin, this ain't the one for you.
