While it performed as a most basic mascara, with a name like this I expected Boots Longer Lashes Mascara to, y'know, make my lashes longer. The slightly dry formula coated lashes sparingly and without lengthening, leaving a feathery, am-I-wearing-any-mascara look. By lunchtime I knew the answer to that, as my under-eye areas were slightly smudged. Removal was super easy -- just cleanser and water did the trick.

      i was so excited when boots became available in the US .. and especially at target. they have so many products to address different needs and a company isn't number one in england unless it's pretty special .. and i like this mascara. the wand is so easy to use and you can't beat the price. although it's not waterproof, the... formula is thick and does not flake at the end of the day. i remember putting a million coats on for a party i was attending, and someone asked me how i got my lashes so long. and it was a boy! a boy has never asked me anything about cosmetics and i NEVER get compliments on my straight, short, thin lashes. now, this definitely isn't dramatic as false eye lashes, but this is great for the everyday look.       I tried this after my aunt told me about it. I'm always looking for a mascara that does what it promises. It makes the lashes longer, which is a dream come true! Plus, it's so much more affordable than a lot of department store brands. February 15, 2008, 11:40 am
