absolutely terrible
my hair felt so weighed down even while it was wet in the shower when i used it. i could feel like my hair was rough and super dried out. this does not feel luxurious at all and the scent is foul! not worth it and not hydrating at all. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 6 people said helpful

Not happy
I purchased this as a set a year ago, And it'd been used once! The shampoo left my hair feeling like straw, and even after using the conditioner, I had to use another conditioner. The serum was an improvement, and it smelled good. For what I paid for the serum (the set) i would say it's over priced! — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

One bottle, three people, and a trash can
My roommate gave this to me with no explanation and I was stoked because BioSilk is both expensive and lauded. In fact, I psyched myself into thinking it was me and not the product, so I kept using it even though it barely lathered and left my poor hair stripped of all moisture and impossible to style. Finally I gave it to my sister, thinking it would work better in her thick, curly hair than in my skimpy locks. She used it once and threw it out. — 4 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Nice theory but...
I used to be a fan of the BioSilk line, but something's changed. After using this in conjunction with their conditioner and leave in silk treatment, my hair looked a hot mess. I ended up using what was left as shower gel. — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

Suave will do better
The first reviewer hit it on the head here. No lathering, and no results at all besides maybe slightly drying my hair out even more. I used with the coordinating conditioner which I felt was Suave quality, definitely not worth the money they charge. Biosilk is bad for your hair anyways, it has alcohol in all the products which is a major drying ingredient. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Please Read The Product Title Carefully, Now Think.
Irony, perfect irony. Shampoos are never really hydrating, in fact they strip moisture. Unfortunately, this is one of the perfect examples of when salon formulators get too ahead of themselves. First of all, this didn't lather too well which I didn't mind too mind but the end results paired with the coordinating conditioner was nothing more than just a simple, everyday shampoo and conditioner finish, in fact maybe even below that standard. I really wanted to like this, so much that I thought maybe a fifth or sixth attempt may "improve" the hair by frequent usage only to find a greasy scalp by the end of the night, lifeless tired roots, and dirty, oily hair that needed to be rewashed begging me to toss this out the window. Harsh to say but the equivalent to this doesn't even come close to any salon product I've already tried and I've danced with quite a few in the shower, well, not literally. But needless to say, pocket your expenses for this one, unless you like the flat Adams Family women vibe. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 11 people said helpful

great :)
when I used both the shampoo with the conditioner and blow dried my hair, it was silky smooth and very soft!! Though through the wash, even after the application of the conditioner my hair did feel dry and dull and this shampoo does not lather well at all!..kinda tricks you out of the money.. — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

Huh?
I'm a fan of the BioSilk Cure but I think something has changed (besides the packaging). I bought this on a whim when I saw it being sold at Nordstrom Rack. I thought, well what the hay! I liked the Cure/serum so why not give this shampoo a try. I threw the shampoo out. Each time I used this, I felt like I had just been to a public swimming pool & washing my hair in the change room. My hair was in tangles, brittle & dry. There was little lather but it made my hair a big mess in the shower. I lost a lot of hair trying to comb out the mess & the natural silkyness. I still like the scent of the shampoo though, smells like going to the salon. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
