Rimmel London Colour Rush Duo Eyeshadow Reviews

Pretty colors but....
Pretty colors in the package, but when applied, the color seems to "crumble" and it definately doesn't have any staying power. Even for the low price, it's still not worth it. — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

I expected a bit more
This was marked down at my near by drug store- maybe now I know why! I can usually get away with putting on all eyeshadows with my fingers, it's easier for me to blend that way. With this stuff, I almost had to scrape it out of the package to get any of the color. Shame, cause I love the colors, purple and pink. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

You get what you pay for
I was tempted into buying this product because of a commercial with hot looking models wearing Rimmel products. I didn't really even see a color I liked, but I bought one that had a brown. Now, I'm used to using Iman, LancĂ´me, MAC, etc., so this was a brave move - and ultimately, a stupid one! Wasn't soft, wouldn't spread, creased, wouldn't stay on, color was ugly, what else can I say? — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Goes on Smooth, but lacks Pigment
I bought a couple of these eyeshadow duo's at my local Walgreens, they were on clearance. I was hoping they were on clearance because of package design, but i was pretty dissapointed after using it. Rimmel's products are pretty good for a drug store brand, but these shadows had no pigment. Comparable to a childs play makeup, but great for you girls out there are just starting to wear makeup :) Foolproof coverage. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Cheap.
I can see why their eye shadow isn't very expensive. Its hard, chalky, hard to apply and takes coat after coat to even show color. — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

The only reason this doesn't get a 1....
... is because I didn't get an allergic reaction or a scratch on my cornea from this shoddy product. It has the same cakey, hard-to-apply consistency as other drugstore type shadows. I like to apply with my fingers, but good luck with this one. You'll need one of those three pronged garden tools to get anywhere after about three uses. I so wanted to like it. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

beautiful colors, terrible performance
Rimmel's Colour Rush Duo Eyeshadow is a classic underachiever. the colors are vivid and relevant. the shimmer looked excellent given that the price was right. but tell that to my stinging eyes. the eyes which have no color on them after application. an application consisting of giant hunks of glitter that looked so nice from the outside of the packaging but now seem to be permanently affixed to my face. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

dear rimmel, why I loved you so much, why did you have to go and break my heart like that, you not only burned a tiny hole in my wallet but you burned my my delicate eyelids I cried because of you. You weren't smooth, and you smelt funny. I' am sorry but its over. love heather — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Review subject
The colors of this product do not come out near as vibrant as they appear. It also has a very chalky feel, and does not go on smooth. It went right in the garbage. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
