Smells like heaven
If heaven had a smell, anyways. This is a vanilla-scented body cream. At first it smells a bit like the plastic jar, but that goes away shortly afterward. You get a pretty good sized tub for the amount of money you spend, although I just wish it was a bit bigger. Too greasy
I generally can use a lot of the more heavy lotions during the winter time and this one is just too greasy to put all of your body after you shower. It might be better as a hand and foot lotion. I love this product. Just tried it for the first time. It smells absolutely wonderful. I like the thick texture. It does a great job of moisturing my hands and feet. Moisturizing, but a bit greasy...
I really like the heavy-duty moisturizing that Sympathy for the Skin provides. I primarily use it as a hand lotion, but I will only put it on before I go to bed, or if I'm not using my hands for anything, because it stays very greasy and takes a long time to soak in. I received it as a gift, and while I like it, I don't think I'd pay $20 for it. Simply Gorgeous!
Sympathy for the Skin at first looked to me like Vanilla-almond custard! I tried it and was amazed at how quickly it soothes my thirsty dry skin. I use it mainly on my hands, even though its a body lotion (I don't really use body lotions all that much). Sympathy for the Skin smells heavenly - something like a mix of vanilla, almond & sandalwood - and its scent was different for me when I smelled it in the jar that I first got as a sample at one of Lush party promotions, than when I put it on my skin - it smells much better when it's used (at least for me). VERY moisturizing, light, non-greasy, absorbs quickly, the scent stays subtly on skin a long time, not overwhelmingly though, and a little bit of Sympathy goes a long way in smoothing the skin all day long!
