A Great Normal Skin Foundation

My skin type is normal-to-dry, so Elizabeth Arden's Intervene Makeup is perfect for me during warm weather months because it wears well despite facial perspiration. The beautiful array of shades and the fact that it lasts a very long time make it well worth the price. It is blendable and looks great with or without a shaded or translucent powder. This stuff works great on my oily, acne prone skin. It provides natural, buildable coverage that doesn't clog pores or cause breakouts. It blends and wears well and looks natural. It's also easy to apply. This is probably my favorite foundation. — 2 years, 5 months ago

I had the nice lady in the mall try this makeup on me. It covered my redness nicely. Usually makeup looks cakey on me no matter what I did. This makeup I hardly noticed the cakeyness. It almost wasn't there at all. I felt a little bit sleepy but not as bad as other makeup. I did start to scratch the area that the make up was applied to though which I think led to me breaking out a little. Best Foundation Ever!

I'm 33 and I can't begin to tell you how youthful my skin looks when I use Intervene. I also have patchy redness and uneven skin tone and Intervene evened everything out giving me a flawless look. Not for those with very fair skin

This seems like a nice foundation but I have pale skin and there aren't that many shade options with this foundation (at least as of now). The sales lady tried to match my tone and I went ahead and got some of this, because I thought maybe she just put on too much (they always do that in the department store). However I tried putting it on really lightly when I got home, and the shade is just much too dark for my skin. This does seem like a nice foundation but not good if you have very fair skin or a hard to match skin tone. I went to the Prescriptives counter instead and they spent a lot of time matching my tone and I'm really happy with what I got there instead. — 4 years ago

Intervene's Turning Me Into a Believer

I normally don’t wear foundation on a regular basis because it always feels a little heavy on my skin and I don’t need much coverage anyway. But after trying Intervene and seeing the before and after, I'm starting to notice that using liquid makeup can really enhance my skin. This particular formula is oil-free, has SPF 15 and gives light to medium coverage. This product also makes the cIaim to "pause the signs of aging". I'm not too sure about that since I haven't used it for long enough, but I think I'm really going to enjoy it for every day use. Amazing - especially for my "aging" skin!

This has everything that I want in a foundation, so much so, that you would think it was made just for me. moothing Intervene on with a makeup sponge, I was able to quickly disguise the imperfections, while making my skin more even overall and luminous - something much needed at my ripe young age of 40 (ha!). The shade that matches my fair skin tone is Soft Sunbeige. I originally thought that Soft Shell was for me, but it was a little too pink for my already pink skin tone. I have found Soft Sunbeige to be perfect.
