I moved to Florida this year and already have spent a lot of quality time out by the pool. I found this on sale(usually it's too pricey for me to want to try it) and I think it has officially displaced Banana Boat as my favorite brand of tanning oil. It absorbs well and is long lasting. I liked that it left my skin very soft and the scent is lovely. Hawiian Tropic Dark Tanning Oil
This has been around forever and that definitely says volumes! I have been around this since I was 8 years old (30 years ago) because it was the only product my mom ever used. She would rub this in everywhere and have me rub it in to her back. She always had a dark brown tan and a big part of it was this product. I have always loved the smell and the consistency didn't bother me at all. My mom did quit laying out in the sun a few years ago (major sun damage) but if you want a great smelling, non-dripping, sun catching, tanning oil, this would have to be the product for you! I am as fair as fair can be so no matter how I tried to get tan, it never worked. reallyyy tan!
my sister and i wore this over top of sunscreen last time we went tanning. first of all, it smells really great (like coconut) and is easy to blend onto the skin. i don't know what it is about this product, but it seems to harvest the sun better than anything because after tanning, my sister was the most tan i have ever seen her! and usually her tans fade in a few days, but this time her tan lasted for a week! i love this and i will use it every time i want to tan because it seems to amplify the tanness of my skin and really get me more tan than suncreen alone! — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 10 people said helpful

Before I knew better...
Hawaiian Tropic is the best tanning oil ever. Just opening the bottle takes me back in time to the days when I slathered up in this on Ft. Lauderdale beach. The fragrance is fantastic. When research came out that too much sun could cause skin cancer, that was the end of my beach time. Coconut Oil
This is a great tanning oil. Just reading their ingredients make me hungry for an exotic beach - coconut oil, aloe, some tropical fruits and many more. The scent is awesome. It gives my skin nice quick dark tan. My skin does not look reddish color with this oil. What I also like about the product is the bottle. Unlike some other tanning oils, this one does not leak oil, and a small hole let me control how much I want to use. Love this stuff
This brings back memories when I would go swimming and get nice and dark. Eventually, this was before getting alot of sun was bad for you but it works like a charm. smells yummy!
This smells amazing and is infused with lots of good extracts for your skin! It also really does what it claims too - it significantly increased my tan when I used it. One thing is that is once it has absorbed, it leaves your skin with a slightly oiled feel - not greasy, just like a hint of oil - but I personally don't mind it at all, my skin feels moisurized, and it gives your legs a slight sheen. The Aroma of a tropical beach.
This product is the best dark tanning product around. I have never used any other product that has a wonderful tropical beach smell or that tans so good. I have always been able to use this product and get the best results. I will never use anything other than Hawaiian Tropic. I like this oil because it has no sunscreens.
