Not for acne prone skin
I got this tub as a gift about 2 x-mas ago together with a few LUSH products. First of all, it looked very rich and greasy, and it was. I have acne prone skin, therefore, I did not use it on my face. Secondly, I remember it did not smell very appealing to me, but since it contained the natural ingredients like avocado and sesame oil, I kept it to use for my body. My problem was that it did not sink into my skin for some time. Don't overlook this moisturizer
Skin Drink is the spinster aunt of Lush's moisturizer line. The other facial creams all smell fantastic, do wonderful things for your face, and are pricey. Skin Drink is relatively inexpensive and it doesn't smell pretty. All it does is moisturize. And it's brown. But it's fabulous for skin craving serious moisture. Sadly, it clogged the large pores on my nose and chin, so I can only use it on my cheeks. It soothes them, but I won't be repurchasing Skin Drink. Great moisturizer for dry skin!
This is a nice and rich moisturizer for dry skin that isn't too heavy. Soaks in quickly and doesn't feel greasy but leaves my dry skin feeling soft and moist. It isn't inexpensive, but for the quality I'd say that it is a good buy. The scent isn't great either, but it doesn't smell bad either, very bland scent and color. I love moisturizers that come in pots because you can get every last drop. Ok but not great
I took a sample home from the LUSH store and it was good on my very dry skin but I really didnt care for the smell. All the LUSH products smell amazing. This however smelled like stale potato chips. Ok...why such a low rating for this fantastic product???
I used to have normal to oily skin with acne.. since moving to the UK (and it's winter now) , my skin has become combination to dry skin, and has resulted in making my skin look crocodile-ish. I've tried using Estee Lauder, Bodyshop, L'occitane, and my skin was still barely surviving. Becoz of the dry skin, i got more acne (lack of moisture). Then i heard about Lush... so i went into a Lush store and got myself Angels on Bare SKin, and just by chance the Lush lady sampled this on my hand and also gave me a sample to take home . Throughout the day i subconsciously kept touching my hand coz it felt sooo smooth. That night i tried it out this product. i was disappointed at first coz it looked too oily and it wasn't 'absorbing'. 30 seconds later i looked back into the mirror and my mouth fell open. O.M.G!!! I was glowing away like the moon, my pores shrunk, and my fine lines disappeared. My skin looks so healthy and happy now. And i really think i look 10 years younger.
