Lush Celestial Reviews

Works as a night cream, but is too heavy for day
teshie (396 reviews)I apply Celestial after washing and toning my face and can count on waking up to soft, moisturized skin. Although Celestial smells a bit odd in the jar, you'll catch heavenly whiffs of vanilla as you smooth it on your grateful skin. It may seem spendy, but a little goes a long ways. (And do use only a very little; it can feel greasy.) Although my whole face is dry and flaky, my nose is also blackhead-prone. Celestial makes the blackheads ten times worse, so I can only use it on my cheeks and forehead. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Sensitive Skin Essential *
SKINCAREaddict (35 reviews)When your skin is freaking out and you just need something without much in it, (aka. I want something soothing that wont break me out or make my face red) then this is the one for you. Also works well with other products I use a skin brightening serum under it. another thing if it seems like it is going on too thick put a squirt of tea tree toner water on your face first or simply wet your face a little. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Nothing Special
NoraCharles (90 reviews)This is a fine moisturizer, but nothing great. It is gentle enough for sensitive skin. The biggest dissapointment is, as usual, Lush's use of parabens and phalates. Not very "green", Lush. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

19 Best Face Moisturizers -
THE BEST!
DtotheR (5 reviews)I love this moisturizer. I have slightly oily skin that gets dried out easily and causes breakouts. I have a really hard time finding a mild, yet effective, moisturizer. This has been my favorite for years. Actually, it's the only one I'll buy. Bonus - it smells nice and a little goes a long way! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Use just a little
strangewings (6 reviews)I love the smell of this product, but if I use too much it leave my face feeling greasy. Just the tiniest speck is all you need. I think this tub would far outlast its expartion date for the amount in it compared to the amount used. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

11 Worst Face Moisturizers -
Love it!
PeriodicStyle (13 reviews)This is my absolute favorite face moisturizer. I have dry skin (mild eczema,) but my face has been called combo by facialists (but all the combo stuff I’ve tried makes me break out, so I’m not sure how combo I actually am FACIALISTS,) so finding a facial moisturizer used to be a pain. This stuff has solved all my breakout and dry skin problems! Love the vanilla scent (smells like vanilla frosting, yum!) and a little goes a long way-- the tubs last me three to six months depending on the time of year. I use more in the winter, but avoid putting too much on at once-- it'll sweat out if you put too much on. I usually do a thin layer in the morning all year round, and then another one at night during the winter. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful
