Thanks, but no thanks
After three weeks of trying to make this work for me, I'm throwing in the towel and giving it a lousy review. I read product reviews on Lush's website and tips on their forum about how to properly use SJG. I talked to an SA. I experimented. But in the end, SJG left my nose with more blackheads than when I started. Sweet for my face!
I was reeeally skeptical about how slathering oil on my acne prone skin was supposed to be a good idea, but I gave it a try and it's been amazing. Definitely don't skip rinsing it off well with a warm to hot washcloth and toning to remove the excess, if you don't the oils can be a bad thing. If you're sure to get all the cleanser off your face though, it works REALLY well. Love this stuff! Very sweet for combo skin!
I was leary of using this on my combination skin as it seemed like it would be to greasy. But the info on it claimed it was targeted at problem skin so figured I'd give it a go...Wow! Who knew? I am in my late 20s and get the occasional breakout on my chin or when I wax my eyebrows/upper lip. Otherwise my skin is normal (dry-ish in winter perhaps). I decided to use this to clean my face when I take my shower at night. I use a scrub every third day in the morning and the other days a gentle cleanser. But since this is a bit messy to use I decided it would work best in the shower and I was right! The only reason it's not a 10 is because it IS kinda messy and is also a bit price-y.
