Doesn't cleanse on it's own.
Much like it's sister product Angels on Bare Skin, Herbalism is a thick dry paste that needs to be mixed with water to be used. On it's own, it does not cleanse well, it wont remove makeup. I found that mixing it with a gentle cleanser (like Purpose) makes it an excellent, light exfoliating cleanser. I prefer the scent of AOBS, but i did notice more of a tighter feeling after cleansing with Herbalism compared to AOBS. It shouldn't be marketed as a cleanser, more like a cleanser additive you can combine with your fav liquid cleanser to make it exfoliating. And i think the price is a bit high, it's not like it has expensive ingredients and it can easliy be made at home (which i've done). — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

BEST Oil Eradicating Cleanser
I am always oily. After my very first cleansing with LUSH Herbalism, I had no oil at all for 14 hous. The shelf life of Herbalism is 3 months so you can get great use from a small amount of product. However, it is a bit pricey and a tad difficult to work with as when you try to wet the clay and make a paste, some product is bound to get loose or drop. The areas (few as they are) on my face that are not oily, were smooth and supple. Most brands for oil control will dry out the rest of skin, NOT this gem :) — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

i love the smell and everything. but that doesnt cover up for its responsibility. it didnt exactly help my acne prone skin. i have the most problems around my t zone area. and this wasnt the best. but it works somewhat — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
