Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler Reviews

You have to try to believe it!
luckybetty (880 reviews)I have skimpy eyelash, but SHU UEMURA EYELASH CURLER can make some difference. It curls most of my eyelash just one try. So why I don't give the perfect 10? The rubber wears out quick, and I have to buy the whole thing again and again. I wish they sell just rubber parts. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 9 people said helpful

Wow!
leo1999 (560 reviews)Whoah Nellie! This Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler really does live up to its hype. My skepticism has faded and I'm very happy with my purchase! It grabs all the lashes sans pinching and curls them into seductive loveliness. The augmented price tag is so worth it. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

No pinching
sweettpea29 (205 reviews)Oh I really love this eyelash curler! I have tried so many other eyelash curlers and I never quite get the same curl. I will say that I have tried the Sonia Kashuk and Sally Hansen curlers and I have never been able to get the same amount of curl. I do have to say that the curl stays even after mascara is applied. The mascara does help keep the curl longer. If you can, heat your eyelash curler with a blow dryer and you can get the curl to stay up to two times longer. (Please be very careful with this. You will need to make sure that the curler is cool enough before you place it near your eye. In order to test if the curler is cool enough, test it on the back of your hand.) Tricks like this can help your lashes stand out! — 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Worth the hype
italiaca (222 reviews)So, I had heard about this eyelash curler for a long time, and I couldn't imagine what would make one curler so much better than another. I recently broke down and purchased it, giving in to my curiosity. Wow! Before, I thought little pinches here and there were part of curling my lashes. However, I think it's the shape of the tool. Ever since I purchased this curler, I haven't pinched my eyelid once. I love. It gives great curl, and really makes my eyes pop with mascara. I don't say this about many products, but this one is worth all the hype. I recommend giving it a try! — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Another Ordinary Curler
SubCulture (228 reviews)I'm not sure what all the hype is about this curler. It works like most other lash curlers and if I'm not careful it will pinch my skin. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Truly the Best
EireItalia (271 reviews)Though my eyelashes have a natural curve I still like to experiment with eyelash curlers for an open-eyed effect. Until I tried the Shu Uemura curler I was never satisfied. This curler fits practically every eye shape and gives a long lasting lift and curl. Many people do not like the cost of the lash curler but in my opinion it is very well worth it. I consider it a good investment, especially since I am always pleased with the results. The pads do need to be changed when they show signs of wear (i.e. you can see the groove of the curler imprinted in the pad). It is also recommended that you replace the curler itself after an extended length of time (when it seems to have less grip or loosens). This is the only lash curler I will ever use and I recommend it as a worthy investment. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Counting Bills Isn't Necessary For Great Lashes
Starluxe (298 reviews)This certainly does the job an eyelash curler is supposed to do but is it worth the twenty dollar bill? I've found that after trial and error, that eyelashes curles don't coincide with me at all and maybe one factor is because of my genes, my eyelashes are already have a curve but I didn't notice that until a Sephora employee noticed it herself and explained why it might have not been so effective. But let's give this a fair honest rating, my close friend uses it and finds that it does define her lashes but while she and I picked up two other common eyelash curlers and tested them, we found they did the job just as well without the name of the elite beauty industry attached to the curler or the box. Conveniently, this does come with a replacement rubber foundation which is absolutely terrfic as I find many people throw their curlers away after it just wears down because they have no idea where to purchase replacements or can even find one to fit it. Thanks, I'll keep it in my train case in the situation that someone needs it but otherwise, go on ahead and purchase yourself that five or six dollar one. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 12 people said helpful

Just ordinary
GeekyChic (217 reviews)Honestly, I didn't think this lash curler was all it was cracked up to be. I bought it (I still can't believe I spent $20 for an eye lash curler) and wasn't impressed. My $5 Revlon curler works better. I think most people want to buy this just because of the name. — 11 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
