Rehab Your Hair

With Aveda Hair Detoxifier, you don't need to check yourself into rehab to clean up your act. I spent a couple of years swimming a couple of times a week in an indoor pool. Before I would test the waters, I would shower, l lightly towel dry my hair, and then add one of my many Aveda conditioners that I own. Once a week, I would use the detoxifier. Because I have color-treated hair, I found that I couldn't use this more than once a week, or my hair would be drier than fall leaves. The detoxifier definitely cleans up your act. I would always condition my hair after washing my hair with this product. — 4 years ago

This product is great once a week for removing buildup, etc. from hair. I wouldn't want to use it too frequently, as it would be drying, but once a week followed by a good conditioner has really helped my hair. :) — 4 years, 1 month ago

I was a competitive year-round swimmer and just finished swimming 4 years in college, and I swear by this shampoo. Being in chlorinated water for up to 10 times a week, I desperately needed something to 'detox' my hair of the chlorine-and it always worked! Our water here in the city has a high chlorine content. My hair was dull and very dry before I started using this product. I now use this along with other Aveda products just once a week to detox my hair. It works better than any products I have tried so far. Which have been quite a few!
