I might as well have put water on my face for all the effect this toner had. I like that it contains a host of soothing ingredients, but this toner was too mild, even for my dry, sensitive skin. Burt's Bee's has a rose water and glycerine toner that is similar to this, but leaves my skin feeling truly refreshed and clean. There are certain aspects of this toner that I really liked and some I didn’t. The price is great and the toner is really gentle. It helped control the oil on my forehead and cleared up a fair amount of my acne. The scent isn’t offensive and the product felt really cool on my skin. Sometimes though it seemed to make my face really red, blotchy, and itchy, but it didn’t happen all the time just occasionally. This reaction did go away after a few minutes. I live very far from a Kiehls store. So this product was a try for me. I had only heard good things about it so I thought I should try. I was not dissapointed. I had a cluster of breakouts that I couldnt seem to get rid of after I started using this toner my skin cleared up in about a week . I have not had any breakout since. I love that this product cleans excess makeup and dirt off you face without the harsh alcohol and fragrances of other toners!
