This gel smells like a creamsicle and is stocked with things that are good for your hair: aloe, protein, and silk, to name a few. Even if you couldn't care less about the environmental politics behind the john masters organics brand, you will love the way this gel works. I slide it through my pixie cut to get separation, hold, and shine without any flakes or crunchiness. It keeps my hair silky soft all day. Even when I indulge in my bad habit of rubbing my hair to get through a stressful period at work, I can just brush it back in place and still be frizz-free. I wish it offered more texture.
