Not sure why this didn't work for me
After reading all these positive reviews, I thought I would really like this shampoo. But I hated it and had to stop using it! The smell is great, but it didn't perform well. After rinsing it out, my hair felt really tangly and not moisturized. But at the same time it didn't feel clean. When I went to my stylist to get my hair cut she was amazing at how much gunk was in my hair. There was such a buildup of product that she had to wash it 3 times with a clarifying shampoo. Apparently this stuff just wasn't doing the job of cleaning my hair well enough. Not for course curly hair
This shampoo smells wonderful and it certainly cleanses well ...in my case too well. I have curly, course hair and this just didn't do it any favors. It dried my. hair from thoroughly from scalp to ends. I wanted to love it because it's organic but it just wasn't for me. dry out hair & split ends
Ever since I began using Avalon Organic Lavendar Nourishing Shampoo and & conditioner my hair looks dryed out. I see more split ends! I heard it is because your hair is detoxing from years of chemicals but why would it cause split ends? Great natural lavender scent but not the best shampoo
I have a thing for NATURAL lavendar scented items (natural lavender oil). This product definitely smells great and I love that about it. Unfortunately, that is where my love affair with this product ends. It made my hair feel greasy and my hair looked like crap all the time. Another product that ended up in the garbage. aaaaaand, it's a no-go :(
This shampoo is not too nourishing, because it stripped everything out of my hair. I really, really wanted to love it, because I'm all about using more natural products these days. But, it pretty much thrashed my hair. And the matching conditioner did nothing to condition, because after showering and once my hair was dry, it would be like static city if it got rubbed up against anything at all, like changing my shirt. Good thing my husband wasn't around, cuz he would have asked where the light socket was that needs a bulb because I must have just accidentally stuck my finger in it. Avalon Organics Lavender Shampoo weak scent
I bought this product partly because of the lack of chemicals but also for the lavender scent, which I was disappointed in. The shampoo was fine. Works, but there's better out there

I wanted to like this shampoo, really I did, but
I agree with several other reviewers that I just was not happy with the results. My hair felt dry and tangled after use and yet did not really feel clean. it's a great deal
I've been trying to use body products with no paraban and harmful chemicals. This shampoo works great, smells great, and is a very reasonable price for a natural product.
