Okay, but I've tried better

I like bigger brushes in mascara and that was a plus as this was one of the first mascaras I started using regularly. Over the years I've tried better mascaras that accommodate to what I want, and this wasn't anything special to me; I like extremely dark black and the darkest black that was offered in this mascara wasn't very dark. This is a good alternative to someone who likes big brushes but doesn't want to spend money. — 1 year, 2 months ago

Crispy Lashes

I really wanted to like this . The CoverGirl Lash Blast is all over the magazines, but it made my lashes crispy! Crispy is not a word I want associated with my eyelashes. The only drug store mascara I have found to work OK is the Loreal Voluminous Mascara. — 2 months, 2 weeks ago

makes lashes hard

i admit, it did make my lashes longer...but thats about it. it clumps even when i dot in on tissue. after a full day it makes my lashes hard and uncomfortable. its like lengthening eyelash gel. at least it lasts. i heard maybelline colossal is way better than this. it has less clumps. dont waste your money on this. you wont want to use it often — 3 years, 10 months ago

I really like this product. It really separates my lashes and gives lots of volume. It is not good for multiple coats, however, as it can leave lashes feeling stiff. I also find that this mascara really does need to be replaced every 3 months as it tends to dry out quickly. — 3 months, 1 week ago

so this is my sisters fave mascara, but i wasnt too impressed. and i buy tons of mascara, all the new ones and from everyplace you can get them, and she only buys from drug stores. her lashes always look great, and i guess i have no complaints but i just dont think this is special. you probly wont be disapointed, but you wont be wowed either. skip this one, unless you get it on sale. — 3 years, 3 months ago

No Clumping

I like this mascara because the wand applies a thick and rich coat of color on my lashes, but the lashes don't look clumpy. They became fuller for a great look and lasted a long time. — 3 years ago

I don't get the hype

This was terrible. The claim: "Covergirl's biggest brush ever maxes-out each and every lash for a blast of lush, volumized lashes." I felt like this was too thick and heavy for my lashes, causing them to weigh down and droop. It also dried too quickly and made them feel crunchy. I didn't like the hard plastic bristles, I prefer original brush bristles. The wand was just too stubby and short to get all of my lashes. Bummer. — 3 months, 1 week ago
