Great definition!

by hello_kitty (4 reviews)
My fine-to-medium naturally wavy/curly hair looks great after using this product. It is a heavy defining cream. Mousse is too light and does nothing for my curls, while gel just leaves it crunchy. The Curl Amplifier is heavy enough to give great definition and tame frizzies, but not so heavy that it leaves hair ultra crunchy. Here's a tip- the bottle suggests one to two pumps, but I get plenty of mileage out of less than one pump for my long (middle of the back) hair.01/25/2008

    great product

This is the best. I've been using it for years now. I have long, thick curly hair. I put 4 pumps in to wet hair, and go. It's such an easy product to use, and I don't need to use anything else with it. It doesn't have an overdone look, which I like. I put 4 pumps in to wet hair, and go. It's such an easy product to use, and I don't need to use anything else with it. It doesn't have an overdone look, which I like. Gives me a natural, not overly crunchy feel, while still keeping my curls as frizz-free as they can be for a couple of days when I don't feel like washing my hair. Also, if you don't want to wash your hair, just put a pump or two into your palms, rub your hands together with water, and smooth over your dry hair, for a quick fix. April 29, 2008, 6:40 am

    It really WORKS!

I have hard to manage tight curls. This stuff works! A little trick is to slightly wet your hair when your done applying it. I usually have to use a little more with the long hair though so the bottle goes quick. Wish they sold it in a larger bottle! April 24, 2008, 9:05 am

I stumbled upon it by accident when a salon was having a sale and I purchased a trial set of Curls Rock. I just tried it one day and was so impressed with the results. I used to have very think curly hair along with the frizz. Over the years of using medications and stress my hair has become much thinner. I first used the Curls Rock Shampoo and Conditioner. I then applied the amplifier and let it air dry. I usually always use a blow dryer. I was so thrilled. I looked like I had my old thick beautiful curly hair back. I made me feel like a million. After it dried I just added some lock in spray and bam gorgeous. This product was a blessing for me. I once again get compliments on my curly shiney long locks. July 31, 2008, 1:13 pm

Not too heavy not too light.

My hair is thin and wavy, so this is the perfect balance for my hair. It's almost like a lotion, but it holds my curls in place all day. It makes my hair beautiful and bouncy! I definitely recommend it. June 24, 2008, 2:16 pm

    An Absolute Favorite!

This helps construct my curls & keeps them soft. I love the product. I definitely see the difference in my hair with and without using the product. I wish it came in a larger size, as it is often difficult to find & doesn't last that long in size of the current packaging. Average in terms of price ~ but worth it... Coaxed perfect curls from my wavy hair

They formed these flawless little spirals all over my head and even though I was pleased with how shiny, full of body, and well-defined they were, I felt a bit too Shirley Temple. So I brushed them out and then rubbed a bit of pomade through the whole mass and was thrilled to see that the shape of the curls returned, only they looked much more natural, making this product the hands-down best curl product I have ever used. Other products have left my hair shapeless, dry, frizzy, or limp, but this stuff delivered on the promises printed on the bottle. November 14, 2008, 7:29 pm

October 15, 2008, 10:28 pm I have naturally curly hair, and I do mean CURLY as in ringlets : ) this line has worked wonders for me in the past though I do tend to bounce back and forth between several brands depending on my mood and the season of the year etc. This one is great when you need a LOT of help with frizz as it can get greasy/heavy if not used sparingly. I say save it for when your hair is really going to get dried out or super high humidity. I smear it in my hands first and then finger "comb" it in while my hair is wet. It doesn't work as well on dry hair and you can't brush my hair when it's dry anyhow haha. So I say wet your hair, finger comb out the snarls, finger comb in this stuff, and then either let it dry on it's own or use very low heat on your drier. I don't use this for updos or when my hair is pulled back as it's too thick for that (but great for long, natural waves/ringlets). and I agree that it smells awesome-kinda sweet and fruity : ) October 15, 2008, 10:28 pm
