Didn't even purchase
I tested this out in store and couldn't even bring myself to buy it (even though I knew Sephora would let me return it if needed). For one, it was too yellow. Yes, it's lighter than the normal You Rebel, but that doesn't help if it's going to give my fair skin a yellow tint. Second, it was SUPER greasy. Now, I realize it's a moisturizer, but even on the back of my hand, the moisture didn't seem to sink in. It just sat there looking shiny. I'm all for dusting with powder when needed, but I have oily skin already and I didn't need it to look even worse. So I wiped it off with a tissue and walked away. I wish they would update the formula so it would be a little better. I have yet to find a tinted moisturizer I actually like and matches my skin tone. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Worth the drawbacks
Because I love the sheer but thorough coverage, I'm willing to put up with some of this product's drawbacks. It doesn't so much moisturize as it does rest on top of your skin and look shiny. While it's comforting to know that it's not clogging my pores, it's not a good look and you'll want to follow up application with a sheer powder. Another drawback is that it doesn't last the day, so you'll need to bring it with you to the office. But! When it's not being high-maintenance, You Rebel Lite does a fantastic job of disguising my rosacea-reddened nose and cheeks while looking like my natural skin. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Very sheer
This is just to enhance your skin, but if you have breakouts or any dark pigments from scars, you need a concealer, which is too much time and effort for me. I found the moisturizer part to be lack luster which is typical, but for the money, I would like more moisture. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Not for sensitive skin.
This product contains Methoxycinnamate 7.5% and Oxybenzone 5.0%, which should not be used by sensitive skin types. This made my skin red and itchy and extremely oily by the end of the day. I really don't like how there are only two shades of this (original and light) The original version was too orangy, and this formula is too pale. There are more parabens in this than i've ever seen in any other product (Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Propylparaben) and i doubt there are truly any antioxident benefits since they are at the bottom of the ingredient list. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Clogs my pores
I like the coverage of this tinted moisturizer and the feel but my skin just does not react well to it at all; it clogs my pores in a major way and my skin is left looking dry, cakey, and uneven. I wanted to like it, but my standby tinted moisturizer is still Laura Mercier's. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Too yellow for light skin!
I'm a fair skinned ginger, and this moisturizer is far too yellow. It gave me a sallow complexion, and it's far too greasy. I do not agree that it changes to match light skin tones. I looked yellow. — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Waste of my money
This is by far the worst face product I´ve ever bought. The coverage is not very good and I have to slap some powder on. What is the point of getting this if I have to put a whole make up face on. This product is so greasy that it broke me out and the staying powder is not good either. I would never EVER buy this again — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

oil slick
This is good for an everyday look, as a tinted moisturizer it cleans up imperfections but doesn't hide them entirely. It's a pretty good value, too, considering you get 1.7oz. However with my combination skin this tinted moisturizer is simply too oily. Even if I let it sit and dry my skin still looks incredibly shiny unless I use a powder to set it, which sort of seems to defeat the purpose of a tinted moisturizer, which should be easy to apply and fuss-free. For this reason, I don't love the product even if the smell is nice, the consistency is good and it moisturizes. I simply look too oily! — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
