Great stuff!
It's excellent and minty but not too strong. It helps when I put it on my lips overnight. It's too pricey though. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Miracle Broth, Miracle results.
As I am writing this review, the current price of the lip balm is $50, which is a $5 increase. I did a little researched and discovered that there is more than meets the eye. The lip balm contains La Mer's "Miracle Broth" which contains sea kelp fermented by a process called "sonochemistry". This process is powered by sound waves which alter chemical reactions of the broth while fermenting. The kelp itself is harvested off of Vancouver Island (Canada) twice annually, and fermented for months. One would say that this product is unsanitary because of being contained in a pot. No matter, since the "Miracle Broth" which is the main staple in this product, has anti-bacterial properties from the kelp. Another ingredient found in the "Miracle Broth" is lime tea extract, which is lime marinated in 100-proof vodka. The rind itself has a lot of powerful antioxidants. But enough science for now. The proper way to apply is to dip your finger into the product (don't swirl), and place a small amount on your finger, and rub it together between two of your fingertips. The heat from your fingertips activates the broth, and will turn the product from white to clear when fully activated. Gently dab the product onto your lip area, do not smear. & volia. This product has a very light vanilla + mint scent to it and will not taste awful if it comes in contact with your saliva. Some also say that it has a hint of chocolate scent as well. Try the "Miracle Broth" for yourself. I have used this product for over a year thus far and it has worked for me. — 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Pampering my flutist lips with the Best
I was at my favorite La Mer coiunter recently and happened across the Lip Balm. What sold me first was the smell. So fresh and wonderful. Then I fell the incredibly smooth texture. I talked to the specialist and decided to invest in it. I have been very happy with it. As a professional flutist, my lips MUST be in top condition and this product helps them stay that way. I especially like to apply it during concerts, since it is invisible and not sticky at all. It keeps my lips from drying out and doesn't get all over my instrument. It also tastes good, although I try not to eat it. I love it and love the fact that although it was pricey, it is going to last a LONG time, because I use so little each time I apply. Great product. Thanks La Mer! — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

La Spare (Me)
I agree with "who are they kidding"--I always lusted after La Mer as the ultimate in unattainably expensive skincare. I bought the lip balm, thinking I could use it as a barometer to see if the Miracle Broth lived up to the hype. I mean, the lip balm is o-kay, but not 45 bucks o-kay! I am a lip-product junkie, and I was not thrilled with this product at all. I'll stick to Smith's Rosebud and get my Miracle Broth when I order steamers in the Hamptons. — 4 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 9 people said helpful

Love it!!
I received this lip balm as a gift and it works fantastic. I have yet to use another lip balm so effective. It's slightly minty, not greasy and leaves your lips looking younger and smooth. I put it on before any lipstick or lip gloss and it has made a huge difference. Love it. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Great Product
I received this lipbalm as a gift and was psyched to try it and that I didn't hvae to shell out the $50 for it. I've been using it every morning for about 2 weeks and it really is a great product. Here is why: 1. it goes on smooth and is not greasy; 2. you do not have to reapply -at all; 3. it cures dry chapped lips. If you can afford to spend $50 on lip balm - buy this product. It will probably last you a year and you'll love it. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Great for Dry Lips!
This is the best poduct I've ever tried for dry, chapped lips (think winter in the northern states). Mine is always in my make up bag. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

La Mer Lipbalm is the BEST!
La Mer is known for their products because they are made with great ingredients and work wonders for your skin. While most items are a splurge, the lip balm is definitely a must have. I always carry mine with my because it is a great lip moisturizer and tastes amazing! It has a hint of mint chocolate, just the right amount. I recommend this product to anyone who loves products and appreciates quality. Trust me, La Mer lip balm has saved my lips! — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
