my hubby's jaw dropped when i asked him to buy this for me last xmas =) after hearing about all the hype i had to try for myself. it's a nice shimmery peach-pink blush to add some subtle color to your cheeks; the texture is very light and natural. i'm asian w/ warm undertones, and sometimes the sheen is too subtle, but a few extra swipes with the blush brush and suddenly my cheeks are superflushed - it's a fine line one can quickly cross over. it's rather pricey but the compact lasts a LONG time. after reading other reivews, i'm tempted to try sin... — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Not a fan
This blush shade has been on what seems to be every top ten list in the beauty industry. I recently tried it and was really disappointed. It's much more shimmery than any review ever mentions - and I mean shimmery to the point your cheeks actually look like they belong back in the 80's. The color also didn't work for my very fair skin tone and when applied looked way too dark. This blush also seemed to irritate my skin, which might be due to the fact that the powder isn't as finely milled as one would think this over-hyped product would be. It was a bit grainy feeling, though this feeling didn't last long as the blush had absolutely NO staying power. Great Colors! Great Quality! Lasts Long!
Nars is known for their blushes, and they have a wide variety of colors for any skintone. I personally have 3, which are Lovejoy, Orgasm, and Dolce Vita. I love ALL of them! The quality is amazing, they go on smoothly and are easy to layer and mix with other colors. They are so diverse so you can wear them for an everyday natural look, or when your out on the town. The price is great for what you get and they last all day long! I am waiting to buy MORE =) Lovejoy - Rose with gold shimmer. Awesome for an everyday natural glow. Easy to layer so you can get the exact amount of color. I actually use this one more than Orgasm. Best used on fair or light skintones. Dolce Vita - Matte plum. The color looks dark when you see it, but it actually goes on lighter than it looks. I bought this one because it was matte, most of their blushes have shimmer, and I love their lipstick in Dolce Vita. Best used on medium and darker skintones, but looks great on lighter skintones for the evening. Orgasm - Their most popular shade. Pinky peach with gold shimmer. Great if you want to have that natural blushing look on the apples of your cheeks. Where did it go...?

I never wear blush and during a trip to sephora my bf asked if i would try some so he could see how it looked on me. My first thought when someone says blush is orgasmm (and not just because my mind is constantly in the gutter) but everyone has heard of orgasmm. So i put some on and my bf was amazed, he said it's what had been missing from my face: color. I tried on a few other colors and brands, nars was one of my favorites. Shock and Awe
Absolutely pigmented and rich in vibrancy. This is my favorite blush line and although I wish they had more shades because I seem to can't get enough of NARS blushes, these babies come in all sorts of flattering tones. From shimmers, glitters, matte, and sheen, the finishes of these blushes stun beholders as they sculpt and tint a flush healthy colors. In a sleek and chic thin compact, you get quite a bit of product to last you through the seasons and couple of bad breakups. I love blending this on a finish face because just a bit of this completely defines a face. I'm trying to collect as many as I can! STRONG COLOR
These have strong color. Apply with a light hand. You can always add more. This blush gets high ratings everywhere. Paula gives it a high rating also. So even though I never wear powder blushes I decided I would give it a try. I chose Taos. Not too pink, not to orange, but just right, and not too much shimmer. It's application is good for a powder blush but you do need to blend, blend, blend as the colors are strong. Wearability is good. I am still undecided as rather it is a keeper or not. I will have to sample a few more in store as a comparison. It is true about the compact getting dirty though. I have just used it 2 times and you can see where I have handled it. I wipped it down well with a dry cloth and it was ok.....but if you do not keep it up it could be a problem....that alone would make me return it as I do not like to look at dirty containers. Great for certain occasions
I do really love this blush. The color looks really flattering on almost any skin tone and the staying power is quite good. It's a splurge item for me but the container lasts quite awhile so it's certainly worth it! I do however, have one warning and that is that this blush (at least every shade I've seen) is quite shimmery so it is more of a night-out-makeup than a day to day look; also, if you have lots of blemishes or lines, you would do well to avoid this product as it will only emphasize flaws. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
