What Am I Missing?
I have more cosmetics than I care to admit. I've tried more blushes than most department stores or drugstores carry. And Nars blush doesn't impress me. It's a wearable shade, but didn't bring about the excitement I expected. The Perfect Blush
I have medium skin, and not that great of skin texture. This blush is the perfect color for me and goes on perfectly regardless of skin type. A good product, but not as great as advertised
I have this blush in two colors, Deep Throat and Orgasm, which are similar in that they are shimmery peach shades. They're both nice colors, but a bit heavy on the shimmer. Wears well. The packaging is cool looking and feeling (black and slightly rubberized)... until it gets dirty. It's kind of annoying. Would I say that NARS blushes are some of the best blushes on the market? Expensive, but Uniquely Amazing
NARS makes a mean blush! I passed over their blushes so many times because they don't look like anything special in the pan. If you can get past the initial lackluster appearance of these and swatch them, you will start to see how special and dynamic they are. I first bought the blush "Luster" which is a beautiful peach color with gold shimmer. I usually opt for matte blushes, but the gold sheen that runs through this is so beautiful and flattering on the skin. This blush in particular is great for summer time with more nude looks, but also looks great when paired with a bolder lip. It looks fab on my pale skin, but I also think it would look lovely on darker skin tones and could perhaps even be used as a highlighter. The next blush I purchased was "Sin" which is a plummy color that also has gold shimmer in it. Having such light skin, I would not think to purchase a plum blush because I would assume it would be too harsh or obvious on me. That gold shimmer really helps offset the darker plum color making it extremely wearable. This blush look stunning on the skin. Again, it is so unique, unlike anything else I own or have seen from other makeup lines. If you are typically put off my blushes with shimmer, you should still give these a try. They are so finely milled that they are not overly sparkly or in your face. The shimmer just adds a lovely dimension and catches the light beautifully. I would love to try more blushes from NARS, particularly "Deep Throat". These are quite expensive so you will certainly want to test whichever blush you are considering. I do think that $28 is worth it for blushes that are as unique, beautiful and flattering as these. Because NARS blushes are so pigmented, just a little product is plenty, and each blush should last you so long. Orgasmic!
This product is a little pricey but you get a lot so it lasts a long time even with everyday wear. I have the color "Orgasm" and it is the prettiest of my blushes. It is a shimmery pink-peach color with tiny golden glitters in it. One swipe gives you and instant GLOW! Two swipes is the perfect, flattering pink!I love the packaging the rubbery plastic makes it way more shatter proof then other blushes I own. Great!!!
I own Torrid, Mata Hari, Albatross, and Desire and all are in my most used blush category. From the ones I have I feel these blushes are very pigmented (a little goes a long long way) and blend exceptionably well. I do wish they contained more product for the price but in general they do go a long way because or their stellar pigmentation. Great Shade
I really love this peachy shade of blush because it matches my skin tone and gives my cheeks just the perfect amount of pink color.
